If you've ever doubted the accuracy and integrity of "corporate" media, here's the latest example of why you SHOULD!... It has "come to light", that CNN "buried" a story about how BILLIONS of dollars in Government contracts which are awarded by the "Small Business Administration" are actually going to HUGE "Fortune 500" companies.... such as Boeing, McDonald Douglas, G.E. , and others. Most of these contracts are SUPPOSED to be awarded to "SMALL" businesses, NOT huge political-contributors, who (incidentally) spend fortunes on media advertising..Is it a COINCIDENCE that these same corporate giants are spending millions to advertise on C.N.N.?? EVEN THOUGH THEY PRODUCE NO "CONSUMER" GOODS WHICH MIGHT NEED ADVERTISING????? Why DOES McDonald- Douglas have to advertise on T.V.???? And, by the way, where is the Congressional "oversight" of this war-profiteering??? Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said that "War-profiteering is TREASON"..... NO SHIT!!!

C.N.N. featured an interview with the "Inspector-General" in charge of auditing the war in Iraq. He stated that 43% of OUR money being spent was for repairing and maintaining Iraq's utilities... which are under constant attack, and are now LESS functional than at any time since Saddam's rule. He also stated that he found 34.6 MILLION dollars MISSING... More than 34 million dollars worth of assorted military equipment including weapons, munitions, communication equipment, vehicles, uniforms, etc.. A recent deadly attack in Iraq involved "insurgents" dressed in Iraqi and American military uniforms, who were able to gain access to "secure" areas.. I have a feeling that the "insurgents" are LAUGHING at America's supposed-military "superiority"... as they are able to defeat us with cheap, readily-available supplies and equipment often STOLEN FROM US !!! This war is a criminal- farce.. designed only to enrich the "Military-Industrial-Complex"; justified with LIES, rife with corruption, and paid with the "blood-sweat, and tears, of America's sons and daughters"...... Now they're telling us that all of their "equipment" will need to be replaced... MORE BILLIONS that have not been included in the "cost-of-the war"!! How many schools could be funded with that 34.6 million? How many people could have "Health-Care"? Remember the Cold-War"?... how many BILLIONS of dollars were spent on military programs that were NEVER used?? Perhaps it is time for a "Laissez Faire" attitude in International affairs.. If other nations want something from us.. (like "petro-dollars") , perhaps we should MAKE them submit to OUR rules, to OUR laws, and OUR demands. If the REAL cost of oil were calculated, we must include the TRILLON dollar National Debt, the MILLIONS spent EVERY DAY to fight this war, and the incalculable cost of the tens-of-thousands of dead and wounded . It would make the TRUE "cost-of-gas" RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE... Just how many "bodies-per-gallon" does YOUR car get???

Your tax dollars at work: Google "Parsons Iraq" for a Business Week Magazine article on the Parsons corp. ... currently being investigated by the Inspector General in Iraq for MASSIVE construction fraud and war-profiteering. Parson's spokespersons are naturally blaming their ineptitude on "the Government", while pocketing BILLIONS. (Sort of like HALLIBURTON??( Let me remind you, that NONE of this investigation occurred during the Republican-dominated administration) It now seems painfully obvious, that this war was NOTHING more than an excuse to "line-the-pockets" of corporate-contributors, and military-industrial "contractors"; a concept promoted by Dick-Head Cheney. Cheney's recent interview on the FOX "News/propaganda" network has reinforced my opinion of him.... He has worked SO LONG in the C.I.A. and with the "spooks", that he no longer has a grasp of reality. It now appears that he is TRULY delusional! He continues to claim that the "situation" in Iraq is improving, and that "progress" is being made; while ALL evidence points to the EXACT OPPOSITE! The chaos-of-war is the perfect setting for greedy, corrupt politicos and their financial-backers to pillage, steal, and pilfer from both Iraq and the American taxpayers. This week, it has been divulged, that the White House "filtered" and manipulated scientific research and publications regarding "Global Warming".....USING A LOBBYIST FROM THE "OIL-INDUSTRY"!!! Dick Cheney MUST be indicted, and prosecuted... for his criminal involvement in the Valerie Plame Wilson affair, as well as his illegal "secret" meetings with energy-industry officials. His incompetance is nothing less than criminal, immoral, and outrageous! Dick Cheney is the "poster-child" for the phrase: "Absolute power, corrupts absolutely". Cheney should be spending his "retirement" in a Federal Prison!! Is it possible for an "average" citizen to make a "citizen's arrest" of a Vice President?.... Today there were MAJOR developments in the "Scooter" Libby trial; testimony by the C.I.A. chief in charge of White House intelligence briefings warned Dick Cheney not to divulge the identity of Valerie Plame Wilson.... warning that doing so would endanger the lives of scores of people who she worked with, and destroying an intelligence gathering unit that took many years to establish (a "boiler-plate" operation which set up a bogus oil & energy exploration company in order to obtain "intel" in the middle east). This high-level C.I.A. official stated in court that he had personally warned Dick Cheney NOT to divulge Plame's identity weeks before the infamous N.Y. Times article mentioning her C.I.A. identity. Another member of Libby's staff stated (in testimony) that Dick Cheney had directed her to inquire into Plame's activities, and to delegate he "outing" to Libby... a direct contradiction to Libby's statements that he learned of her C.I.A. affiliation from "reporters". The indictment of Libby for "perjury" is carefully calculated... It is often said that prosecutors should never "try" cases that they don't know they can win. It will be a "slam-dunk" to convict Libby with the testimony heard today; it is NOT as easy to convict him of "treason".... I suspect that , after he is convicted, he will be offered a "plea-bargain" to testify against Dick Cheney... Just imagine..... if Dick Cheney is indicted for treason, and George Bush is impeached.... IT WOULD MAKE NANCY PELOSI THE PRESIDENT!!!!!!

The news media is full of speculation about who's going to "run" for President in 2008. We must remember that the president, "doesn't actually do anything" except "delegate" to others. Perhaps we should concentrate on a wider perspective than just one-person... perhaps we should develop an entire Cabinet and platform before then. So I'm "open" to suggestions for the various "Cabinet-Level" positions. Here are a few suggestions: Bill Richardson for Secretary of State (experience in the field) ; Joe Wilson for Secretary of Defense (experience in C.I.A. matters, and HE tells the truth) ; Hillary Clinton for Secretary of Health & Human Services (She could finally get her national Health Care plan) ; Al Gore for Secretary of the Interior (he could work on the environment, and Global Warming) ; Warren Buffet for Secretary of the Treasury (lots of financial experience) ; .... We should recruit experts in their "fields", who are NOT financially connected to Corportate "special-interests"... After all it doesn't matter much WHO is president; what matters is who is actually RUNNING THE COUNTRY. (Think Karl Rove, Dick Cheney). Got any other suggestions?

Condaleeza Rice spoke to Congressional inquiries today; in typical "Neo-Con" fashion, she used a new word: In reference to the proposed 21,000 man increase of American troops in Iraq, she wouldn't call it "an escalation", or "a surge"; she preferred to call it an "augmentation". Aren't we ALL sick & tired of all their "spin"???.... In the words of some unknown cowboy: "you can call it manure, if you like, or maybe compost, or organic-cattle-by-products..... BUT IT'S STILL BULLSHIT!!" One Republican Congressman called it: 'The biggest foreign-policy blunder since Viet Nam".................DITTO. (My head is STILL spinning!)

A story appeared on "Mainstream" television last night, (perhaps on A.B.C.??) It told of a "weapons-system" developed by the Israeli military, which has been tested and proved to defeat 98% of R.P.G.s (Rocket Propelled Grenades)... the same weapons which have been SO sucessful in killing American soldiers. It seems that out PENTAGON chose to "decline" this system, opting for another similar one being designed by RAYTHEON. While the Raytheon system is "STILL ON THE DRAWING BOARD", NOT tested, and NOT READY TO BE DEPLOYED!!! This "emits a noxious odor" (smells) of "war-profiteering" at THE VERY LEAST!! I encourage anyone who reads this, to investigate and make our "elected-leaders" aware of this!! PASS IT ON !! Meanwhile, "Dubyuh-Dumb-ass" is proposing a "surge" of American troops in Iraq; 21,000 troops to be deployed DIRECTLY in neighborhoods, where they become much-easier to kill by insurgents. Lest we not forget, 21,000 troops will ONLY restore troop-levels to the SAME numbers that we had 2 years ago!! (And we all know how well THAT was working!!) Since when is it a "good-idea" to ignore the 'will-of-the -American-people", the opinions of MOST American military-leaders and the Iraqi government, and to continue with a mis-guided, poorly executed, and illegal policy??? It smells like "the same-old-shit".... Or perhaps "Stay The Course"????? Since "Dubyuh" will leave office in two years, he can conveniently blame his failures on the incoming administration.. Just like the Republicans blamed their failed fiscal-policies on Bill Clinton.... I can hear it now: "If ONLY the Democrats had "stayed-the Course", we would have victory".... In the "West" they have a saying: "You made the pile, YOU stepped in it, and YOU can clean it up!!" I wonder.... which government-contractor "Dubyuh" will work for, after he leaves office??

As I predicted to anyone who would listen, the recent execution of Saddam Hussein appeared on the internet within hours. This escapade is but the most recent policy-failure and example of the hypocrisy found in the Bush/Cheney administration. It has been said that "Dead men tell no tales"; the execution of Saddam will forever hide the truth about those "weapons of mass destruction", the allocation of his Billions in pilfered "oil-for-food-money", and the lack of evidence about his alleged connections to "terrorists".The "Right-To-Life" president Bush has NO qualms about executing people... He presided over the execution of 143 Texas inmates while he was governor. ( Ignoring ALL evidence,The "statistical-probability" exists that SEVERAL of those executed "death-row-inmates", WERE NOT GUILTY!!...) Yet George Bush allowed a "review" of each "death-penalty" execution..... of no more than 15 MINUTES EACH!! How's THAT for "Family-Values"!!! (maybe he meant "The MANSON FAMILY"!!) The total death-toll for American soldiers has now topped 3000; with an estimated 60,000 dead Iraqis (mostly civilians) and tens of-thousands injured... without considering the psychological trauma of "post-traumatic-stress" suffered by tens-of-thousands MORE! It documents Dick Cheney's maniacal rise to power, with lies, slander, secrecy, and "cherry-picked" intelligence. One C.I.A. These "corporate-crooks" are the same people who infiltrate the "Cabinets" of government, creating their own laws and favoritism; often paying little or no taxes while "outsourceing" American jobs. I don't recall the "Declaration of Independance" saying" One nation, Of the corporations, by the corporations , and for the corporations"!! In a rare display of "Cojones", the Congress has over-ridden the block on Federal funding for stem-cell research!! A thought recently "flowered" in my fertile brain: Why has no one yet questioned the motives behind the opposition to stem-cell-research?... Could it be, that Pharmaceutical companies would rather "TREAT" diseases, than to "CURE" them?? As in the case of the "Common-Cold", Billions of dollars in profits are made by TREATING the symptoms of a viral infection... yet little is done to cure those viruses. Remember when we were children?.. How scientists predicted that we would soon see a CURE for "the Common Cold"??? It seems much more profitable to treat the coughing, wheezing, sneezing, congestion, aches, and fever (If you don't believe this, just take a look at how much "shelf-space" is devoted to over-the-counter "Cold" remedies at the local grocery or drug-store) Why has no one demanded "ownership" of their own "un-used" frozen embryos?? Are they not OWNED by the people who produced them?? Can they not decide their ultimate fate? George Bush has often stated that "destroying embryos is murder"... Yet we don't see Federal Marshalls, F.B.I. agents, and S.W.A.T. teams descending on fertility-clinics that regularly "discard" un-wanted frozen embryos. I used to support "impeachment" efforts, yet I now realize that impeachment would only "legitimize" Dick Cheney's control of our nation... after-all he IS really the president, not that puppet named "George".

Over the past weekend, 91 Iraqi civilians were assassinated in the on-going Civil War. The most accurate "body-counts" of civilian deaths are between 50,888 and 56,387. This catastrophic blunder by the "Commander-In-Thief" and his "stay-the-course" administration are NO LESS THAN CRIMINAL. Meanwhile, the Halliburton C.E.O., David Lazar) has profited by more than $100 MILLION DOLLARS from his stock , and the "No-Bid" contracts awarded by Dick Cheney. By the way, WHERE ARE THOSE "WEAPONS-OF-MASS-DESTRUCTION"?? A former Federal prosecutor named Elizabeth deLa Vega has written a book called: "U.S. V. Bush" detailing the CRIMINAL acts of the Bush administration, similar acts to those which got Enron conspirators lengthy prison sentences. ("War-profiteering" is considered "treason" and a felony, the illegal invasion of a sovereign-nation without provocation, the treasonous and felonious disclosure of the identity of a C.I.A. operative in a "time-of-war", the Totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL use of "executive-privilege" in the form of "signing-statements" to ignore legitimate laws. etc....) Why are Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove and the rest NOT IN PRISON?? Even the "Christian-Moral-majority" have recognized their hypocrisy and criminal conduct; as evidenced by the recent Congressional election. How about his 2 million-dollar profit from the sale of the Texas-Rangers baseball team; a direct result of Texas-taxpayers subsidizing a new stadium? Hugo Chavez may have been correct, when he likened Bush to "The Devil"; not some "Born-Again" visionary. "History" is already portraying the Bush/Cheney fiasco as the most corrupt, most incompetent, most secretive, and divisive administration is American History!! The Republican-controlled Congress has passed LESS legislation than any Congress in History, while taking MORE vacation, and giving themselves MORE pay-raises. A staggering 25% of their legislation was so-called "re-naming" bills; those bills that change the name of some building, library, park, dam, ship, etc. NO serious discussion of "Health-Care", "Border-Security", "Immigration-reform", "The Federal-Deficit", or the endless "killing-field" in Iraq. Virtually NO "oversight" of ANYTHING!! ( Congressional-pages being molested, Congressmen taking bribes, lobbyists exercising free-reign and actually writing legislation, huge numbers of "pork" bills and "ad-on" legislation. A few new facts in the "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention" category:... A recent audit of the Iraqi "oil-revenue" money found that a mere 13% is being spent in Iraq on "reconstruction"!! No mention of WHERE THE OTHER 87% IS GOING!! The U.S. Congress, under TOTAL Republican control has passed LESS legislation than any Congress in U.S. history. PLUS, at least 25 % of the bills-passed were "name-change" bills.... those IMPORTANT bills that change the name of some already-named Federal building, park, or ship. NO attention to Health-care, NO serious scrutiny of the 600 BILLION DOLLAR FEDERAL DEFICIT, NO immigration-reform, NO scrutiny of "War-profiteering", etc. Incoming "Speaker-of-the-House" Nancy Pelosi has stated that she will NOT support any attempts to impeach George Bush; obviously because impeachment would then make Dick Cheney President!! Question: is it possible to impeach the Vice-President? Without Dick Cheney, George Bush COULDN'T TIE-HIS-OWN-SHOES!!If Cheney were "removed-from-the-picture", Bush would "self-destruct" MORE than he already is!! Recent photos of Bush have been seen during his meetings with foreign leaders... Instead of an articulate, insightful "Leader", he looks much like a grade-school kid waiting to be reprimanded by the principal.. a sort of bored and annoyed, impatient look; like he's waiting for class to be dismissed. The DIXIE CHICKS were, unfortunately, wrong when they stated that Bush is an "embarrassment to Texas". Hell, he's an "embarrassment" to our government, our country, and much of the human-race!! He has stated that he won't respond to the "Iraq Study Report" until after the first of the year, 2007. He undoubtedly needs that much time to have his "puppet-masters" prepare his response..... either that, or maybe it's going to take him that long to READ it!! (After all, it is 73 pages!!)

In the SCARIEST news of the day, it seems that "King George the Lesser" Bush has ordered the deployment of an invasion force... (based on a group of ships which include an aircraft carrier), to the Persian Gulf. While this news is NOT readily available to the bulk of Americans, Pentagon officials are FURIOUS... questioning it's International legality, and it's Constitutional legality. (As it was NOT authorized by Congress). This "Invasion Force" is NOT needed in Iraq, and it can ONLY be assumed that it is being poised to threaten or attack Iran!!! Meanwhile, the Bush/ Cheney crime-family pillages and loots Iraq, and totally ignores North Korea. A Lame attempt has been launched , by Republican "talking-heads", to blame the current North Korean crisis on "The failed policies of Bill Clinton".. WE MUST NOT FORGET, THAT IN 2003, George W. Bush removed all Nuclear weapons-inspectors from North Korea (much like Iraq), while sending BILLIONS in foreign-aid!!! Talk about 'FAILED POLICIES"!!! We are told that we must not "change horses in the middle of a stream"...... What are we to do, if that "Horse" turns out to BE AN ASS!!! A LYING ASS, AT THAT!! Speaking of "Lying Asses", the Costco stores are now hawking the latest BillO'Reilly swill. It is advertised as: " Bill O'Reilly views America as being in the midst of a fierce culture war between those who embrace traditional values and those who want to change America into a "secular-progressive" country".... WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!! Remember Bill O'Reilly's "Tradional Values"???..... They involved "Sexual Harrasment" of a co-worker, and a HUGE out-of-court settlement for some lewd and sexually-explicit voice-mails!!! I'd like to have a copy of this book... SO I COULD USE IT TO WIPE MY ASS!! Such hypocrisy seems to be a major "Plank" in the Republican "Family-Values" platform..Scores of gay Republicans have recently surfaced, while the "Party-Platform" has been one which discriminates and legislates AGAINST "Gays". Touting "Family-Values", Republicans have blocked stem-cell research resultin in the prolonged suffering and ultimate death of thousands of Americans. They have ILLEGALLY and wthout "Just-cause" invaded a sovereign nation, resulting in the deaths of almost 3000 American troops, 50,000 Iraqi civilians, and the injury and maiming of tens of thousands more. How does this reflect "Family Values"?? SURE AS HELL NOT MY FAMILY!!! War profiteering, Lies, bribery, corruption, and slander DO NOT CONSTITUTE "Family-Values"..... If a police-force confronts a "Murderer", a "Kidnapper", or some other "S.W.A.T." situation, they NEVER cease to communicate with the suspect. Representative Mark Foley's "transgressions" are but the latest of the Hypocracy of the Republican Party. Touted and promoted as the party of "Family-Values", they have produced such notaries as William Bennett (Gambling-addiction), Bill Frist (Insider-trading), Tom Delay (Bribery), and their drug-addled mouthpiece "Drug-Rush" Limbaugh. I'm sorry, but MY "FAMILY VALUES" do not include LYING in order to start a war, "War-profiteering", un- constitutional and illegal surveillance and kidnapping a torture, bribery, "insider-trading", etc. !!!How in the Hell, can these people "Lie-through-their-teeth", and STILL hold public office?? A recent statistic crossed-my-path... of which EVERY American should should be aware: The "C.E.O." of Halliburton... (one David L. Lazar) , whose company received all those "No-bid" contracts for the war in Iraq, has profitted ENORMOUSLY from Bush's war... Lazar's Halliburton stock has increased more than $100 MILLION DOLLARS SINCE THE START OF THE WAR!!! Has YOUR investment portfolio gained $100 MILLION in the last 5 years?? I think not. In past wars, such "profiteering" was not only imoral, but criminal as well. The top-ten Republican contributors include SIX Pharmaceutical companies, TWO tobacco companies, and the N.R.A. A similar search of Democratic Party contributors is comprised mostly of "Labor-unions", those middle-class hard-working Americans whom the Republicans are working so hard to destroy. When crimes are comitted, law enforcement frequently "follows-the-money", in order to locate the criminals... THIS "Money-trail" leads directly to the Republican Party.

The "Discovery Channel" yesterday featured Ted Koppel's "The Price of Security".... a town-hall-type discussion by scores of highly-educated experts and powerful people. Serious issued were raised, and many perspectives represented. However, one statement literally "Made my jaw drop".. A Connecticut Representative named Christopher Shays made a comment about how a "scientist from Los Alamos" could "go to Home Depot and buy the necessary items to build a nuclear bomb". I COULD NOT BELIEVE that a representive of our government could make such a LUDICROUS and irresponsible comment; I could also NOT BELIEVE THAT HIS STATEMENT WAS NOT CHALLENGED BY OTHER PARTICIPANTS! Just EXACTLY which aisle, at Home Depot, sells the "Enriched Plutonium"?? Can I use my "Home Depot Gift Card" to buy those 'DETONATORS"?? Who is this "Christoper Shays"?? and what LUNATIC ASSYLUM did he escape from? Today, Air America Radio revealed stories about the Al Queda terrorist who was captured and subsequently "rolled-over" on Zarkawi. Included in the "intel" which he provided to the C.I.A. were the names of four people who knew IN ADVANCE of the attacks on the World Trade Centers. Three of them were Saudi princes, and the fourth was the commander of the Pakistani Air Force and member of their "Intelligence-Agency". ALL FOUR of these men have since died of "Mysterious" circumstances. One Saudi prince died in a "one-car accident", One died "of thirst"; and the Pakistani General died (at the age of 43) of either "a heart-attack, or a blood-clot". How CONVENIENT!! The Al Queda prisoner stated that the Pakistani "Intelligence Agency" and the Saudi Royal family KNEW in advance about the plans of 9-11.. and turned a "Blind-eye". (a Saudi Royal-family bank WAS used to channel money to the 9-11 hijackers) This is one of those stories which WILL NEVER get seen on Fox TV, or any other "Major" network!! Take a look at the "Big Picture"... Bin Ladin's goals were: To cripple America's economy, to "divide" America's citizens, to remove American troops from Saudi Arabia, and to embarrass and kill American Military. It certainly looks like he has accomplished ALL of those objectives!!! Still we are told to "stay-the-course"... WHAT EXACTLY IS "THE COURSE"?? Perhaps the "course" is to "line-the-pockets" of all those military-industrial contractors; after all, WARS ARE A GREAT PLACE TO MAKE MONEY!! It is also suspicious, that weeks before the elections of November, the price of gasoline in America has taken a sudden dive... Have Dick Cheney's "secret-energy-policy advisors" manipulated oil-supplies to help the Republicans "look-good"?? They performed similar "Manipulations" of California's power-grid to assure that "AHnold" was elected, replacing a Democrat!!! (taped evidence exisits of Enron employees PURPOSEFULLY causing those notorious "rolling-blackouts" which sent economic shock-waves through California and caused MAJOR economic chaos) You remember ENRON?? Ken Lay who was George W. Bush's best friend and largest campaign-contributor?? The "STENCH" OF THEIR FOWL DEEDS IS WITH US STILL!! Meanwhile, Congressional democrats attempted to pass a bill which would allow internet access of ALL Federal spending, for public scrutiny;. A site which would allow "ordinary-citizens" to see EXACTLY where their tax-dollars are spent. NATURALLY, The Facists Neo-Con bastards in Congress would not allow such scrutiny of their own corruption and greed. Similarly, the Republican-controlled Congress voted NOT to investigate the MISSING 93 MILLION DOLLARS, which is un-accounted-for in the "Iraq-reconstruction"!! Such an investigation would obviously embarrass and possibly CONVICT MANY OF THEM!!! Every day, I see the "bumper-stickers" proclaiming the "Power of Pride".. Let us not forget that "Pride" is one of the "Seven Deadly Sins" and that "Pride goeth before a fall"!! Somehow the disgusting conduct of "our" government MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE!! I am Not "Proud to be an American"; I am embarrassed, and disgusted.
