Just an update... F.Y.I.:.. Bush's new "Chief-of-Staff" (Josh Bolten) was formerly the Director of the office of "Management & Budget"....In other words, HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR AMERICA'S MULTI-TRILLION-DOLLAR DEBT!!!! Another example of the so-called "Peter-principle"... a person is promoted to the level of their incompetance!! He couldn't "balance-the-budget", SO HE GOT PROMOTED!!

Recent outcries for Bush to "Shake-up" his cabinet have brought a "token" measure of change. George today announce the departure of "Chief-of-Staff" Andrew Card; to be replaced by one Josh Bolten. This hardly signals any substantive change, merely another attempt to "re-shuffle the deck", or more precisely to "move the shells in the shell-game". Typically the Republicans will "circle-the-wagons" and "go-on-the-offensive" with their spin-meisters, whenever there is trouble. This seems to be more of the same. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A COWBOY TO KNOW "BULLSHIT"!! Meanwhile, the killing in Iraq has escalated to new heights. A recent survey of American soldiers-in-Iraq FAVORED AN IMMEDIATE WITHDRAWL OF ALL AMERICAN TROOPS..... BY 78%!!!! We can soon expect "Dubyuh" to confuse Ambassador Bolton, with Chief-of-Staff, Bolten!! Perhaps it's an attempt to make things easier for him to remember; two guys... same name...less to think about!! Since things in Iraq are going so horribly WRONG, the latest Republican tactic is to "whip-up" controversy about immigration; Much like the "Terry Sciavo distraction", or the "gay-marriage-diversion", this recent attention-grabber is designed to deflect attention & scrutiny from Bush's dismal Foreign-Policy and economic failures. The TRUE causes of the massive exodus from Latin-America are the predatory corporate/economic policies of both George Bush & Vincente Fox. Mexico's ruling elite will not foster any serious reforms which will create a vibrant "Middle-Class'; Just as Bush's policies seek to DESTROY America's "Middle Class". The Mexican government would rather keep it's "poor" poor; then it becomes AMERICA'S problem. The money which is sent BACK into Mexico from America totals $13 BILLION annually. (And that is ONLY the money which is "legal" and can be "tracked") The massive influx of "illegals" create a huge tax-burden on "border-states" and their economies. Southern Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico see thousands of "Mexican-Nationals" and "N.M.I.s" (Non-Mexican Immigrants) crossing the borders to attend schools, DEMAND "Bilingual-Education", visit hospital-emergency-rooms, and receive various forms of welfare. While many are hard-working, honest people, they also include a sizeable number of criminals, who engage in a multitude of crimes. It is now coincidence that Espanola New Mexico is part of what is called "America's Heroin Corridor"....and a stopping-point for waves of "human-smuggling". The interstate Highways "I-40", and "I-25" are DAILY the routes of major shipment of drugs. The "illegals' who work and choose to pay into Social-Security, do-so under ficticious Social-Security numbers, and frequently under ficticious names. This situation breeds corruption, tempting "Border-Security-Guards" with vast sums of money. It fosters an "Underground" business in forged documents and "Identity-theft". It also creates a "cash-economy", where "illegal" workers are paid in cash, paying NO taxes, or Social Security. The proponents of "immigration-reform" (Amnesty?) are quick to point-out that these workers "accept jobs that Americans wouldn't do", and that they "contribute to the American economy". They conveniently forget the "Hidden-costs" of their illegal migration. "Emergency Rooms" in border states are crowded with "illegals", who are entitled to free health-care. It is not unusual to spend 5 to 6 hours waiting to be treated for things like broken-arms or other "Non-life-threatening" traumas. If you go to an Emergency Room, YOU HAD BETTER BE BLEEDING PROFUSELY, OR EXPERIENCING HEART-FALIURE!! Border-States are now issuing "Driver's licenses" to "Non-resident & resident-aliens", in an attempt to force them to obtain insurance. How about a "National-Identity" card??? How else can we be sure that "Jose" isn't a Muslim from Spain, attempting to enter America for "terrorism"? The "Major-Media" reported that "protests" against the House-Bill (making "illegals" felons) was attended by thousands, and that "High School students EVEN LEFT CLASS TO ATTEND!!"DUH!!! High School students will "LEAVE CLASS" FOR ANY REASON WHAT-SO-EVER!! ( and the number of such "illegals" is estimated to be between 11 and 13 MILLION!!!)The failed economic and foreign-trade policies of Bush and Fox have even the "Maquilladores" factories now moving to India and China. Two times that nations impoverished their citizens , making the "rich" get rich and the "poor" get poorer, IT BROUGHT ABOUT THE FRENCH REVOLUTION!! and the RUSSIAN REVOLUTION!! How soon will we hear the "Bush crime-family" utter: "Let them eat cake!"..???... THE REVOLUTION STARTS NOW!!

Dubyuh-dumbass is currently "stumping" to raise money for various Republican Congressional candidiates, and to justify his moronic policies. In an appearance for Rick Santorum, Santorum wasn't even AT his own "fund-raiser"... It seems that "being associated with Bush before an election" is TOO DANGEROUS!! Many Republicans who are facing the November re-election are chosing to "distance" themselves from the Bush administration.... the SAME Republicans who have, for years, been KISSING HIS ASS!! It reminds me of rats-jumping-from-a-sinking-ship. Meanwhile the "Captain" of that ship continues to scream: "Stay the course!!!", "It's hard work!!" P.T. Barnum once said "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time". Recent illegal wiretaps by the N.S.A. it seems, are not the only domestic-spying being conducted by the current administration without warrants. A program by the Pentagon called: TALON, has created a sort of "Neighborhood-watch" all over America; Rumours and un-founded assertions are all entered into a massive database... "fishing" for possible links to terror. These so-called "tips" are then shared with any, and all law-enforcement authorities..... WITHOUT "warrants" or any supporting-evidence. Such items as "a dark-skined man, driving a taxi, was parked outside the Capital building"..OF COURSE HE WAS... HE'S A TAXI-DRIVER!!!! Another stated that "a Chinese sailor was taking video tape pictures of a harbor"... I guess that it's now suspicious TO BE A TOURIST!!! Such a database can be used to put YOUR name on a "No-Fly" list, or to deny YOU a "security-clearance" for a job. The Bush administration's intelligence failures of the past have now created a new climate of paranoia; and EVERYONE IS SUSPECT!! Their justification is one of their well known rules: RULE # 1.... "9-11 changes everything"............................ Rule #2.... "Blame Clinton"........ Rule #3....... "When in doubt, ATTACK!!".......... Rule #4...."The best excuse is Patriotism".... ......... Rule #5...... " Americans are stupid, and will believe anything"....If my "Blog" should mysteriously cease, it may be that "Big-Brother" has deemed me "a threat"..... because I choose to seek and speak the truth!!! A question has for-long been "rattling-around" in my brain.... The "Neo-Con" crooks, and Republicans call themselves: "Conservatives"........ Just EXACTLY WHAT ARE THEY "CONSERVING"??? It's not America's economy. It's not America's manufacturing-base. It's not the health and well-being of it's citizens. It's not the "environment". It's not the security of our country. It's not the lives of our military. It's not A LOT OF THINGS!!! It can only be "Conserving" their own wealth, their tax-loopholes and "off-shore-shelters", their "good-old-boy" network of corruption, and their stranglehold on POWER!!They claim to be "conservative" in their vision of a smaller, less bureaucratic Federal government; while creating the MOST bureaucratic, complex and expensive one in HISTORY!! They claim to be "conservative" about Government interference in people's lives; while creating a paranoid, illegal system of spying on ordinary-Americans. (See a Pentagon program called: TALON, and the recent N.S.A. wiretaps) The only thing "Conservative" about them is the CON!!! Their abiding philosophy is "If we get away with it, it's legal"!! We keep hearing about the Iraqi "insurgents"... As if they are some mysterious army of assassins. In many cases, they are various groups of the three ethnic groups; militias who kidnap and murder anyone who lives or works in a multi-ethnic neighborhood. These "terror-tactics" force Sunis to leave Shiite areas, Kurds to leave Suni areas, Shiites to leave Kurdish neighborhoods, and EVERYONE to leave areas with mixed-ethnicity. Bush's invasion has created an entire new breed of refugees... forced to leave their homes and jobs, (if they HAVE them), who utterly resent the American-invaders who brought about this anarchy. Such resentment makes our soldiers "Targets" for their frustration. This resentment is flourishing throughout the Middle-East; creating those martyrs who would gladly die to kill the "infidel American invaders". It seems that George W. Bush's policy of; "Bring 'em on" has created FAR more terrorists than it has thwarted. It is also a case of "Criminal-Negligence"when the "insurgents" have ready- access to the 300 TONS of "high-explosives" (artillery shells, mortars, land-mines, grenades, etc. ) which were LOOTED from weapons- depots near Basra during the first week of the war. Since Rumsfeld's INADEQUATE troop-deployment FAILED to properly "secure" and guard those weapons, they are now being used to kill OUR soldiers!! Doesn't the "Commander-In-Chief" bear the ultimate responsibility for this catastrophic failure of policy? Had these explosives beeen properly guarded, the "I.E.D." deaths could easily have been reduced by HALF!! I am not a "military-strategist", but it seems to me that when a country wins a war, the FIRST thing that they do is to DISARM THE ENEMY!! Yet Bush's little exercise in chaos allows EVERY Iraqi citizen to walk the streets of Iraq with an AK-47 or "R.P.G." in their possession!! It also seems to me that the SECOND thing that is done by the "Victor", is to "secure the borders" to prevent foreign interference.... (Also NOT done) The ONLY logical explanation for this is that Bush WANTS anarchy...For when there is chaos, it allows vast sums of money to be made and stolen!! "Stay-The Course"..... MY ASS!!!.... Has George Bush had a lobotomy?? or is he SO corrupt that he continues to "spin" the truth to profit his friends and co-horts??

In another example of the LIES of the Bush administration; it has "come-to-light" that Iraq's "Foreign-Minister" under Saddam, was secretly spying for the United States C.I.A., via France. It would seem logical, that such a source would have "Intimate" knowledge of any "W.M.D.s" owned by Iraq. This man, (Naji Sabri), has now denied that he was such... (in obvious fear for his life) American sources, however, claim that Sabri disclosed the existence of massive stockpiles of "chemical" weapons... a claim which Sabri also vehemently denies. This "begs the questions": why is it that U.N. weapons-inspectors found NO stockpiles of such weapons, Why did those same inspectors document the destruction of chemical weapons-stockpiles? Why did American troops NOT find any of those weapons? It would appear, that Sabri is being used as a "fall-guy" to blame any "Faulty-intelligence" on him, rather than admit that Bush & Cheney had a PRE-CONCEIVED AGENDA TO INVADE IRAQ!! Sabri cannot admit to being a "spy", for fear of his life. Therefore, ANYTHING can be fabricated and used to support the LIES told to justify the Iraq War. Bush continues to travel to carefully-selected audiences; hoping to justify his hubris and arrogance before the sympathetic crowds. He has claimed that the "media" never tells about the "positive" events in Iraq; chosing instead to capitalize on the body-counts and mayhem. A.B.C. news, last night, aired a segment which TRIED to show a "positive" story. It documented an Iraqi television "situation-comedy", and attempted to tell how Iraqis were regaining some sort of "normal" lives. The story, however, quickly turned into one of horror; as the producer of the show was assasinated, and the production-company shut down the show. Similarly, just as "King George" tries to justify his arrogant colonialism, two incidents occurred in Iraq, where police-stations and jails were attacked by groups of "insurgents".... killing dozens, and freeing jailed suspects. Last week, a carefully-staged collaberation by Iraqi-security forces and American troops, used some 1500 AMERICAN soldiers; this occuring more than 2 years since Bush declared: " major combat operations have ended"!! When questioned about these "major-combat-operations", Bush muttered something about "Not having any knowledge" about them. ISN'T HE "THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF"???? ISN'T HE SUPPOSED TO "KNOW" ABOUT SUCH THINGS?? As I have watched the continuing coverage of the war, I have noticed a peculiar occurance. The "Military-spokepersons", and the "Generals" who appear and justify the war, are CONSTANTLY CHANGING!! It seems that anyone who "questions" the policies of our "Fearless-leader" is quickly replaced by someone else, who will blindly accept the "Party-line", and speak the "spin" to keep their jobs. Such is the structure of the "Military"... "do your job, obey commands, and don't question authority".... or end up being stationed at some remote outpost in Antarctica!!! Many high-level military leaders have raised objections to the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld war and it's failed policies. Serious questions and issues have been raised; yet, in the end, they must ALL submit to the"Commander-In-Stupidity"!!!! Just where does "The buck stop?" I again claim that this president is guilty of "Criminal-negligence"!!

In case you haven't heard, George Bush's "Domestic Policy Advisor", and failed- nominee to judge the 4th Circuit Court.... "Claude Allen", was ARRESTED for shoplifting recently at a Target store. It is but the latest embarrassment to the Bush administration, being DOUBLY troubling, since NO Republican has EVER been seen shopping AT TARGET!! When informed of the incident, Bush replied: "This is very troubling, I didn't know I HAD a Domestic Policy Advisor". The General who was "in charge" of rebuilding Iraq's "security-forces" recently appeared on the P.B.S.; He stated that he was initially given SIX people to establish the training and recruitment of Iraq's army AND police-forces!! This ONLY occured NINE Months after the initial invasion!!! It sort of sounds a lot like the FEMA resposnse to Katrina!!! A lot of incompetance, conducted by a lot of corrupt, inept MORONS!! Bush's "Bullet-point" was: "Stay the course" and "Accomplish the mission".... WHAT "COURSE"?? WHAT "MISSION"??? It NOW seems that the ONLY "mission", was to line-the-pockets of Halliburton!! If Bush's travesties were not SO serious, they would be "comical". Even the "late-Night-talk-show-hosts" have "cut-back" their comedic-jabs at the president....It seems that Bush's incompetant corruption is SO serious as to be morose. Bush's latest "approval-poll-numbers" are the LOWEST of any president since Nixon was inpeached for the Watergate-affair!! We MUST NOT allow the "Culture of Corruption" in our Congress to maintain their stranglehold on OUR government!! The Republican "agenda" seems to be none-other than that of "lining-their-own-pockets"!!... and almost every day another one of them GETS CAUGHT!!! We don't need "campaign-finance-reforms"; We need a few politicians to face "Redition" to Gauntanamo!!... Perhaps a few "firing-squads"??? Our "Sons & Daughters" are being targeted in Iraq, BASED ON LIES!! It has recently been discovered that at least six months before the invasion of Iraq, Saddam Hussein held a meeting of his top-military-leaders, and told them HE HAD NO "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION"... Our "expert-intelligence" identified "mobile-weapons-research-labs"..... WHICH WERE ACTUALLY VEHICLES BEING USED TO DISMANTLE THE VARIOUS WEAPONS PROGRAMS!! Remember Dick Cheney SWEARING that he knew "exactly" where the "W.M.D.s" were located?? LIES!!! Speaking of Cheney, someone recently said, regarding his little "hunting-accident": "If Dick Cheney WASN'T drinking while hunting, he was THE ONLY TEXAN who EVER hunted WITHOUT DRINKING!!".. It is "statistically-impossible" that Cheney WASN'T drunk at the time!! (Hence the 18-hour delay in "reporting" the incident.) We MUST NOT tollerate the "license to steal" which seems to accompany the jobs in Washinton D.C. !! THROW THE BASTARDS OUT, THIS NOVEMBER!!

In the category of "Comebacks": Ocassionally, my anti-Bush "bumper-stickers" will ilicit some "ditto-head" to make an obscene gesture or comment. Usually, such people cannot "read", or lack the intelligence to support their attitudes with facts. Most often, I am greeted with smiles, waves, and "Peace-signs" from passing motorists. Some are so anxious to read the back of my car, that they cause traffic "bottle-necks". To be prepared for the ocassional moron whose testicles are bigger than their brains, I have devised a few "comebacks". When a motorist "flips me off", I ask them: "Is that your I.Q., or the size of your penis?" When one tells me that they "support the president", I ask them: "So, how is that lobotomy working for you?" If they scream obscenities, I respond" I can't hear what you're saying with YOUR HEAD UP YOUR ASS!". If they threaten violence, I merely ask them if they would like "to discuss it with my friends, Mr. Smith and Mr Wesson"......... Usually, the subtle humor TOTALLY escapes their feeble brains and they "just don't get-it"..... (a "card-carrying member" of the Left-Wing Intelligencia......... Dave)
Today, Wisconsin Congressman Russ Feingold drafted a resolution to "censure" president Bush for his unconstitutional and illegal wire-taps of American citizens. This will probably be defeated by the Republican-controlled House, but at least SOMEONE is "holding Bush's feet-to-the fire" for this arrogant subversion of America's laws. Bush's argument has been: "If the president does it, it MUST be legal"!!! That didn't work for Richard Nixon or Bill Clinton; and Bush's FLAGRANT abuse of "executive-priveledge" should be MORE THAN sufficient grounds for impeachment... but THAT can only be initiated by the Senate....The Neo-Con, corrupt, Republican OWNED Senate. Didn't we fight a Revolutionary-War to depose ONE "King-George"? Must we now fight another to depose THIS "would-be-king"??? It is merely a matter of "semantics", when a government seizes people, imprisons them without legal-representation, and calls it "Rendering"..... In ANY other civilized-nation, such crimes are known as KIDNAPPING!!! Oh, I must have forgotten... ("9-11 changes everything!")... It must have "changed" our government's obligations to the CONSTITUTION!!! Our "Founding-fathers" were known as "terrorists" to the British Crown; What exactly is the difference between a "Freedom-fighter", and a "terrorist"??? Where is the "line" between those who fight for their "freedom", and and their "oppressors"?? At this point, I remind readers that AMERICA invaded Iraq... a "sovreign" nation which had NO "imminent-threats" against America. (based on the LIES and selectively-chosen Intelligence that was "spun" by Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush, Powell, and Wolfowitz. Many "intelligence" sources have disclosed that the Bush administration ignored anything which didn't support their pre-conceived agenda, and FIRED anyone who disagreed) part of Bush's rational for invading Iraq, was to "stop nuke-yuh-lur proliferation"...That SAME proliferation now being fostered by Bush himself... giving "nuke-yuh-lur" technology and fuel to India and Pakistan!!His lies just never cease!! Does Bush think that this, (giving nuclear-weapons-technology to India and Pakistan), will "de-fuse" the arms-buildup and nuclear escalation in Iran?? If anything, it will cause Iran to escalate development of such weapons. George Bush is not only "incompetant", but truly DANGEROUS!! Is "criminal-negligence" a crime of which the president is immune??
"Air America Radio's" Al Franken today had a guest who suggested a simple, leagl method for states to elimininate the "Electoral College" from future presidential elelctions. Each state would pass a law which says that they "will use their "electoral-college" votes ONLY to vote for the majority-winner of the national election, and ONLY when ALL states pass similar legislation to do-the-same". This would enable Americans to be assured that their votes would apply to the TRUE majority-winner; and would NOT require a 2/3 vote of a corrupt-Congress to change the Constitution. I encourage all readers to forward this idea to your legislators and political activists. WE CAN'T WAIT UNTIL '08!!! Change begins with YOU & I, and MUST START NOW!!! I also encourage readers to read the "Weekly Alibi" article of March 9-15....@ alibi.com... the interview of Laura Berg; Veteran's Administration Hospital employee, who was INVESTIGATED FOR "SEDITION", for writing a letter critical of George W. Bush! In a similar case, Amy Goodman recently interviewed a woman who had been fired from her job, because her car had an "Air America Radio" sticker. (See "Democracy Now) It is also VERY curious, that the Neo-Cons continue to attack "The Liberal-mainstream-Media".... Yet a recent visit to Albuquerque by Howard Dean and Joe Wilson WAS COMPLETELEY IGNORED BY THE THREE "MAJOR" NETWORK NEWS PROGRAMS!!! They would rather "muck-rake" the '"tabloid" type news about Bill Richardson's appointees... who are being accused of "favoritism" and "improper background-checks"!!! Two highly qualifed appointees, ( Judge Tommy Jewel, and Harry Pavlides) were forced to resign from positions for which they were VERY quailified, and which sorely needed them.... As the result of KRQE's Larry Barker, the local " Geraldo-Rivera-wanna-be". Larry Barker once unleashed his "investigative-team" on the "scandalous" use of Federal-Government-money by the B.L.M. It seems that once a year, they have a "team-building-picnic", to make award-presentations, and to interact with other agency employees who often work in other areas of the state. This "Team-building" event is very important to build human contact and interaction with their peers, who often work from great distances via telephone or e-mail. A few years ago, Larry Barker descended on one of these picnics with his cameraman, microphone-in-hand, to "expose" such a blatant waste of "tax-payer's-money". Where was he, when Dick Cheney travelled to New Mexico, (at Taxpayer's expense) to RAISE MONEY FOR HIS OWN RE-ELECTION??? AND TO ADDRESS A "HAND-PICKED" CONSORTIUM OF HIS OWN "DITTO-HEADS"????(Before the last "election", more than 60% of Cheney's "public-appearances" were NOT about running the country, but WERE about raising money for Republican-Party coffers!! It seems that Larry Barker doesn't "Have the cojones" to seek out REAL corruption in government. It also seems that the "Big-Three" networks prefer to repeat the "party Talking-points" & the latest "body-count" from local murders and traffic-accidents, and gloss-over any "in-depth" issues. Where is the REAL news??? Every night, the local news is NOTHING more than the latest stories about some "Meth-head" killing someone, and how many people died in the latest car-crash!! Where is the "in-depth" investigation of the Laura Berg "sedition" story?? It often seems that New Mexico, being an integral part of the "Military-Industrial-Complex", is too-blind, or too-afraid of examining the "TRUTH"!!!! After all, tens-of-thousands of New Mexico jobs are directly and indirectly supported by the deficit-spending and illegal military actions of this administration!!

In the category of" GIVE ME A FREAKIN' BREAK!!!"...... A self-employed landscaper in Colorado is being threatened with "Workplace harrassment"; the result of the signs which appear in his truck & trailer. He advertises his business with signs that read: "Quality Landscaping By An English-Speaking American"....It would seems that "illegal-alien" landscapers have "gotten their feelings hurt"!!! No matter, that the "Building-trades" and the "Landscaping" and "roofing" businesses are dominated by large groups of "Migrant-guest-workers", who frequently discriminate against any other "Races" in hiring and employment. Many years ago, I worked in the construction-industry in New Mexico. During "slow" periods, My best-friend (who appeared Hispanic, but was not) was offered work while I was not... although we were equally qualified. It seemed that "racism" worked BOTH WAYS!!! No one would deny the rights of another human being to "make a living"; and migrant/ foreign-national workers are usually hard-working, honest people. If this is "workplace-harrassment", then any reference to "Habla Espanol" is an intimidation of "English-speaking" , "German-Speaking", "Viet Namese-speaking" or any other American citizens. I recently visited a local Mexican restaurant, whose employees proudly wear tee-shirts which say: "Help stamp out Gringo food". I am personally "offended" by Hispanics refering to "White-people" as "Gringos"!! It is a derogatory reference, NO different than phrases such as: "Greaser", "Spic", or "Wet-back"!!! I suppose that it is alright to call "white people" things like: "Honkey", "Cracker", Or "Gringo"..... GOD forbid that we "Use the "N" word" or any of the other insulting , derogatory references to "People-of Color"!! ALL PEOPLE "HAVE COLOR"!!! I am not "White", I AM HUMAN!!! I am not a "Caucasian"..... I HAVE NO RELATIVES FROM THE CAUCASUS MOUNTAINS!! If Hispanics expect to be treated with dignity and respect, they cannot continue to refer to some people as "Gringoes", any more than they would want to be called some of the slang phrases that I have previously mentioned!! "Racism" is JUST ANOTHER NAME FOR STUPIDITY, AND UN-FOUNDED BLAME OF OTHERS!! ...... IN OTHER WORDS: SHUT UP, QUIT WHINING, AND GET A LIFE!!!! Life is not "fair"; GET OVER IT!!! Some people will ALWAYS "judge" you unfairly. Discrimination is ubiquitous, and ever-present. As it has been said: "There's no such thing as a free lunch", and there's always going to be someone who wants yours, and will do anything or say anything to get it!! GET OVER IT!!!!
In recent days, two new attacks on "Roe V. Wade" have been launched. In South Dakota , and in Mississippi, efforts are now underway to outlaw abortions. What concerns me most about this issue is the fact that EVERY time that someone appears on T.V. to denounce this "murder", this person IS A MAN! I can't help but be reminded of the judicial concept of "a Jury of one's peers".. Since when are MEN qualified to decide WOMEN'S reproductive and health issues?? If these "laws" eventually "go-to-court", I would suggest that the plaintiffs DEMAND a "Jury-of-their-peers", ENTIRELY COMPRISED OF WOMEN OF "REPRODUCTIVE-AGE"!! When MEN can "get-pregnant", birth-control will be safe, readily available, and FREE. In Mississippi, (a state with FAR too many redundant letters in it's name) MEN have decide to severly restrict ANY abortions.... even those where the life of the woman is in jeopardy, even those as the result of rape or incest!! (It would seems that the concepts of "incest" and "rape" are well-protected traditions in Mississippi!) I have often asked: "How many un-wanted, drug-addicted, inbred, fetal-alcohol-deformed, birth-defected babies have been adopted by these same MEN who seek to impose these pregnancies on some other women??" NO-ONE honestly believes that abortion should be a "first-choice-option" for birth-control. It is too -often used when other methods of birth-control are unavailable or illegal. These same "MEN" have tried to stop the "Morning-after-pill", claiming that "Life begins at conception".Too many people have forgotten the "Old-days"... the days of "back-alleys" and "coat-hangers".... the days when abortions were illegal, but still performed. Making such things "illegal" has NEVER worked; any more than "prohibition" or the "War-On-Drugs" have worked. I see mis-guided fools, spending countless hours in front of "Planned-Parenthood"... singing "Jesus Loves the Little Children", etc., and "protesting" with graphic signs of full-term fetuses. Where is their "compassion" for the 'LIVING"??? REAL, LIVING children are suffering and dying all over the world; Why don't they work for THEM??? The "Religious-Right" has been vehemently attacking embryonic-stem-cell research; attacking science which can treat and possibly CURE the diseases of LIVING, SUFFERING HUMANS!! They contend that these "Blastulas".. (microscopic clusters of cells) are "life".... yet NONE of these could ever survive outside of a human, female womb. These embryos are NO LARGER THAN THE "PERIOD" AT THE END OF THIS SENTANCE!!!..Researchers have recently used embryonic-stem-cells to repair spinal-cord injuries in laboratory mice, and will soon begin trials on humans. Have we forgotten that some of the "Evangelical-Right" are also known as "Christian Scientists"?? Those MORONS who believe that diseases "are God's will"!! and must not be treated!!! Some of these MORONS are the same ones that play-with-poisonous snakes during religious ceremonies... believing that "God will protect them"!!! A recently-sighted bumper-sticker declared: "God save us from your followers!"

The Supreme Court began considering the matter of the illegal "re-districting" of Texas, a "Gerrymandering" technique which gained Republican control of the Senate. We MUST remind the judges, that Tom Delay ILLEGALLY used the Dept. Of Homeland Security resources to "Track" and locate the Texas legislators who fled their state to avoid the vote on it. Such partisan use of Federal Government resources for political- gain is EXPRESSLY forbidden!! Speaking of Tom (putting the "con" in Congress) Delay.... Why is he allowed to "head" the Senate appropriations comittee, while he is under investigation for racketeering and bribery?? Why is he also allowed to head the comittee which is investigating the Jack Abramoff bribery-scandal? Do we allow "convicts" who are on trail for felonies, to serve as jurors of other trials?? NO ONE is above the law.... It is time that we DEMAND such conduct be punished!! The "lobby-puppets" who call themselves our "elected-officials" MUST be held accountable!! The "Neo-Con"-Job hurts every American and we MUST NOT STAND-FOR-IT!!!
