This is OBVIOUSLY nothing more than an attack by "Neo-Cons" against a newspaper with a perceived "Left-Wing-Bias". ANY MORON (including those in the White House) knows that terrorist's funding has been "under-surveillance" FOR YEARS!!! Federal Government officials and White House "spokespersons" have been saying this HUNDREDS of times; especially after 9-11!! Does ANYONE actually think that Al Queda DOESN'T KNOW THIS???? This is political bullshit!! Terrorist networks have been using "Human-couriers", and "Non-electronic- communications " for more than 4 years!! The Terrorists aren't STUPID!! I happened to tune in to CSPAN-2, today; live coverage of the U.S. Senate... If you ever wanted to know what ACTUALLY happens in "Our" government, check it out. Today, the Senate Republican majority is babling incessantly about a Constitutional amentment to ban the burning of the American flag. I have NEVER seen such bullshit in my life. Hour after hour of political posturing, "flag-waving", reminiscence, and wasting time!! An endless stream of Republicans takes turns recalling , with tearful pride, their memories of "saying the pledge of allegiance". They ramble on, using convient "bullet-points" about the "Patriotism" of those who serve and are killed in Iraq... a war BASED ON LIES!!! Such political posturing, at the expense of our dead soldiers is nothing less than OBSCENE!! NO serious discussion of issues about our spiraling National-Debt, NO serious discussions of any "Plan" for redeployment of American troops, NO discussion of the MISSING 9 BILLION DOLLARS from the Iraqi "reconstruction", NO discussion of "national-security", NO discussion of "Single-payer, Nationalized health care", NO discussion of reforming our incomprehensible tax-code, NO discussion of "Global-Warming", NO discussion of "Border-Security", etc....... It seems that they are "running-out-the clock"... wasting time until Congress adjouns.. WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING!! If an employee "In the private-sector" was found wasting SO MUCH time, while "on the clock", THEY WOULD BE INSTANTLY FIRED!! We must expose this flagrant BULLSHIT for what is is.. another Republican diversionary tactic, a "red-herring" designed to divert attention from their DISASTROUS FAILURES!!! Yesterday, an American general disclosed plans for troop-re-deployment in Iraq... shortly after Bush sources ADAMANTLY DENIED any such plans, and shortly after EVERY REPUBLICAN characterized re-deployment as "Cut & Run" and "Un-Patriotic" acts by Democrats!! SOUND TO ME LIKE A "FLIP-FLOP"!!! Or perhaps, the Bush cabinet is unaware of what is ACTUALLY going-on in the military!! It also seems CONVIENTLY close to "election-time" for Republicans to adopt this previously-Democrat philosophy! I would ask: "How are they going to EXPLAIN this sudden policy-shift..(flip-flop), after attacking it so vehemently?" It's time to THROW THEM OUT... Going back as far as the Iran-Hostage situation, the American C.I.A. has been involved in the manipulation and overthrow of countless governments. These "covert" operations were, in large part devised and conducted by none other than Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, and Dick Cheney!! They have been manipulating truth, international-law, and public perception for SO long, that they no longer recognize ANY "legality" other than that which THEY decide is "Legal". Their covert "black-ops" have made us targets of terror, while they 'line-their-pockets" and those of their corporate co-conspirators. Peddling their lies of "Patriotism" and "National Defense", they grab billions in the "fog-of-war"; as our "sons & daughters" pay with their blood. The recent incidents involving "murders" if Iraqi civilians by American troops is clear evidence that our soldiers are being pressed beyond-the-breaking-point. Catastrophic failures at ALL levels of command and training have caused out soldiers to "go-postal"... Suicide rates among our troops are at all-time highs, and "Post-traumatic-Stress-disorder" is rampant. An estimated 20,000 American troops have been badly wounded, WITHOUT considering the P.T.S.D. numbers. The casualty total of American soldiers has now breached 2500, with Iraqi-casualties estimated at more than 50,000. Our soldiers are being forced to perform "security" duties, for which they were not trained; fighting Insurgents who recognize NO "rules-of-engagement" or International laws, and wear no uniform (except when they infiltrate the Iraqi army or police). It has become time for the Iraqi government to "shit, or get off the pot"... We must DEMAND a deadline for troop withdrawl. republican "Talking-dick-heads" continue to spout the party-line... "We must not cut& run" "What kind of message are we sending to the insurgents", etc. I am SO tired of that crap!! If I hear another Republican impune MY patriotism, I'll likely "go postal" myself!!! I encourage EVERYONE to seek out and watch P.B.S. "Frontline" "The Dark Side". In a factual, non-partisan, unbiased report about the C.I.A. and the justification to invade Iraq, It details how Dick Cheney carefully manipulated, "cherry-picked" and "spun" the intel about Iraq to justify his war. Remember the convincing speech given by Colin Powell...detailing those "mobile chemical weapons labs, those "aluminum tubes", that "Yellow-cake uranium"??? ALMOST THE ENTIRE SPEECH WAS WRITTEN BY DICK CHENEY'S #1 MAN .... INDICTED LIAR AND CONSPIRATOR "SCOOTER LIBBY"!!! The so-called "evidence" about the "chemical weapons labs" was from German sources who had SERIOUS doubts about it's authenticity, and who received it from only ONE source, a known liar and alcoholic. The"yellow-cake" uranium was similarly disputed by EVERY authority on the matter. When Bush was confronted about the falsehood of the uranium story, he claimed that C.I.A. director George Tenet had "reviewed and approved" the president's speech. Two days later, Tenet was to"fall-on-his-own-sword"..resigning from the C.I.A. "for personal reasons"!!!! Today, it was announced that a Bush cabinet member, who was the chief-procurement officer" for the G.S.A.(David H. Safavian) "pled guilty" to counts of conspiracy and bribery. It seems that he had had been supplying sensitive, secret information to JACK ABRAMOFF, about Government real-estate holdings.... a sort of "Insider-trading" so that Abramoff could "capitalize" with the help of various "Native American" investors, for properties on which he had inside information. This G.S.A. officer also was involved in the notorious "golfing trips to Scotland" taken by Abramoff. Bush's speech to justify his "pre-emptive" invasion of Iraq was written By "Scooter Libby"... Dick Cheney's SECRETARY!!! Just WHO do are we supposed to think WROTE that speech?? Dick Cheney should be blindfolded, and put before a "firing-squad"!!! Remember his claim about the "insurgency being in it's last throes"??? Tell that to the parent of the two American soldiers who were recently captured and DECAPITATED!! Statistics PROVE that attacks by insurgents are now being directed against Americans, at daily increasing levels. The death of Zarqawi is now signalling a change in strategy for the insurgents. Zarqawi had favored attacks directed toward Shiite civilians, to instigate a civil war. This strategy was NOT approved or favored by Al Queda leaders Zawahiri, and Bin Ladin. The new leader of Al Queda in Iraq is now shifting his attacks toward AMERICAN targets, in hopes that former Bathist Iraqis (Saddam's Republican Guard) will join and support ther insurgency. Informed experts now predict that we will see increasing numbers of American casualties in the coming months. Has ANYONE forgotten the lessons of the American Revolution?? How "guerilla" forces (insurgents) defeated THE MOST POWERFUL MILITARY ON EARTH??? Or the similar lessons of Viet Nam?? How "insurgents" killed tens-of-thousands of American soldiers in a "stale-mate"?? The current "policy" of "Stay the course" is OBVIOUSLY a mindless lie... Yesterday, Karl Rove made a speech; refering to Democrats, he said that they "cut & run" and haven't the courage to "win" the war. In recent months, it becomes increasingly difficult to "grasp the BIG PICTURE", with all of the lies, deceptions, and "spin" being issued by various government officials. With that in mind, I suggest the following: Think , for a moment, about Osama Bin Ladin's attack on the World Trade Centers. He DIDN'T choose Disneyland, the SuperBowl, Times Square, or various other "targets". He chose THE center of "capitalism" in America.... obviously intending to inflict "economic-damage" on America. Now, 4 years later, America is mired in an un-winable war. European citizens now consider AMERICA to be the "Most dangerous nation on earth". We continue to sacrifice our soldiers, our resources, and our money with very little "cost" to Al Queda. We have now "bankrupted" our economy, amassed astronomical debts, while Osama Bin Ladin continues to evade capture. It is now increasingly, and painfully obvious that the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld "Cabal" have NO INTENTION of EVER "withdrawing" from Iraq. Previously "secret" documents from Cheney's "Energy-Policy-Meetings" have detailed how Oil companies strategically "mapped-out" the oil reserves, wells, refineries, and pipelines in Iraq..... WELL BEFORE the invasion!!! (Other details of these meetings have "conveniently" become "classified"!!) Is it any wonder why Cheney has fought so hard against disclosure of these meetings? It is now apparent that Cheney & oil-company insiders conspired to "divy-up" the Iraqi oil resources in anticipation of the upcoming invasion!!The "no-bid" construction of 14 Military bases and the LARGEST embassy in the world, are further proof that the corporate-crooks are waging war-for-oil, with NO intention of "re-deploying" ANY American troops. In light of the incompetant response to the "9-11" attacks, it seems now that Bin Ladin HAS WON!! America is hated, despised, and attacked by increasing numbers of militant "Jihadists" from increasing numbers of countries. Our economy is strained to "the breaking-point". Our foreign neighbors now treat us with contempt, distrust, and hatred. Is THIS how Bush is "winning the war on terror"??? Or is this EXACTLY what Bush wants??? Either answer is unacceptable.

The Republican "Culture of Corruption" has been hard-at-work this week; Illinois Senator Dennis Hastert made a 300% profit, (2 Million Dollars) from the sale of real estate which had "appreciated" directly from the Federal government's freeway project adjacent to his property. (A Federal Highway project which Hastert worked VERY hard to push through Congress) Kind of like the publicly-funded sports stadium in Dallas... which made George Bush similar millions from the sale of his baseball team. The 21.1 million-dollar contract for FEMA limosines, which "Scooter" Libby awarded to a "convicted-felon" was documented in a letter which had been, until recently, in the posession of F.E.M.A. Today, it was announced, that evidence has "mysteriously" dissappeared!!!!!In another incident, Mike Leavitt, "Health & Human Services Secretary" was discovered to have been using a chartered private plane for his own political purposes. This airplane was leased to the "Center for Disease Control", and was SPECIFICALLY designated to be used ONLY for things such as "disasters", and "disease-outbreaks", yet Leavitt used it for Republican fund-raising...... amassing charges of $750,000 for it's use. (paid by OUR taxes!!)"George-the Lesser" made a campaign appearance in Albuquerque on Friday, to raise money for Heather Wilson. "Party-faithfuls" were allowed to pose for photos with the president, FOR A MERE $1000.00 EACH!!! Sounds a lot LIKE PROSTITUTION!!! I always suspected that the "W" stood for WHORE.... Now I have proof!! (While Democrats and anti-war protestors were kept more than 6 blocks away!! ) This week, Democrats labored to conduct a vote to "Investigate the no-bid contracts, and war-profiteering of the Iraq war"........ NOT ONE REPUBLICAN VOTED TO CONDUCT SUCH INVESTIGATIONS!!! (Franklin Roosevelt conducted such inquiries during W.W.II, even investigating his OWN PARTY!! stating that "war-profiteering is treason"!!) NOT ONE REPUBLICAN was the "Cojones" to seek the truth about the missing $9 BILLION DOLLARS spent on Iraq's "reconstruction"!!! (Perhaps they have something to hide?) These corrupt bastards HAVE TO GO!!! It seems that ANYTHING is permissible, as long as they don't get caught!! This, remember, is the Republican Party...which campaigned on the premise of "accountability" and "fiscal-responsibility"!!!.................LIARS!!!!!!!

The Bush/Cheney "crime-family" is now celebrating the recent death of Al Queda's Abu Musab al-Zarqawi , killed by two 500-pound bombs in Iraq. It is true, that Zarqawi was a heinous, murderer. It is also true, that he had been "under-surveillance" for nearly a month and a half. It is also true, that American intelligence had known of his whereabouts since 2002; he had been living and operating in various areas of Iraq which were protected by American "No-Fly zones", which kept him from being killed by Saddam Hussein. Zarqawi represented a "Fundamental" jihiadist movement which was in direct opposition to the "secular" regime of Saddam. This made him an "outlaw" in Iraq; protected by THE AMERICAN AIR FORCE'S "No-Fly-Zones", and fighter patrols! It is obvious, that George Bush would rather see Zarqawi DEAD, than to be apprehended and brought to trial. If he had "gone to trial" he would have countless opportunities to preach and denounce America, much as Saddam has done in his trial. His murder is also a convenient way to APPEAR to be "fighting-terra", while actually creating a new "martyr" and recruitment tool for Al Queda. It, therefore, perpetuates the chaos and anarchy and the subsequent "war-profiteering" by the military & industrial "contractors". If Zarqawi had been "under-surveillance" for more than a month, why was he not captured? The bombing killed 6? people; no vast "insurgent-army" protecting him. His killing is nothing more than a media-event... carefully choreographed like the many "public appearances" made by this president and vice president. The photo of his dead body is proudly and carefully displayed for all the media, enlarged and exquisitely framed. Zarqawi was ACTUALLY in the custody of American troops shortly after the invasion of Iraq; but HE WAS "LET GO"!!!! Don't forget, that one of Osama Bin Ladin's brothers was at a meeting with George Bush senior, during the attacks on the World Trade Center. The same Bin Ladin family was, very covertly, spirited away from the United States in chartered jets supplied by the Bush White House immediately after the attacks. Meanwhile, the Republican Congress is "up-to-it's old tricks" again; with an election pending, they REFUSE to address SERIOUS issues. They ignore things like "the Economy", "the reconstruction of New Orleans", "The failures in Iraq", "port-security", " a culture of corruption in Congress", "Global Warming", and countless other pressing matters, to discuss "Gay-Marriage" and "Flag-Burning"!!! This tactic, of "distraction" and "diversion" was able to gain control of every branch of OUR government in the last elections, and they are trying to use it again. There are so many "Red-Herrings" coming from Washington, that EVERYTHING is beginning to "smell fishy"!! I suggest that every "outraged" American go to the supermarket. Buy a "red-herring", and put it in an envelope. Address it to the White House.... 1600 Pensylvania Ave. Perhaps if a few MILLION smelly, disgusting parcels arrive on Bush's desk it might "make a statement"!!! Zarqawi's death will only serve to "make him a martyr" in his jihad, to incite more radical fundamentalism, and recruit more "insurgents"... But it surely makes "Dubyuh" look like he's "Being tough on terra"!!! "Bring 'Em On" IS NOT A FOREIGN POLICY!!! What kind of MORON gets on International television and "goads" his attackers.... inviting them to attack?? The same MORON and CROOK who PROFITS from this war, and sends OTHER-PEOPLE'S sons and daughters to die. If you wanted to apprehend a criminal, would you go to his "home-turf", paint a"bull's-eye" on your police, and scream "Bring 'Em On"??? The actions of this president and his "puppet-masters" is NOTHING SHORT OF "CRIMINAL "!! Just HOW MUCH money is Dick Cheney getting from Halliburton's "no-bid" contracts in Iraq??? In a story which has largely escaped "Mainstream Media", the "Board of Governors, of the American Bar Association" has begun an investigation into the 750 "Signing-Statements"... of George W. Bush. These "Signing-Statements" are devious methods to avoid legitimate laws, which have been argued and passed by our Congress. In our "Three-Party-system" the ONLY way that a president can dispute or change a law is either by "veto" or appeal to the Supreme Court. It seems that IN 750 INSTANCES, BUSH HAS IGNORED THE LAW! In one such instance, Congress passed a law which would make it illegal to torture prisoners. This law was a "joint-effort" of Senator John McCain, and Senator Edward Kennedy... passed after lengthy debate, argument, and study. When it reached the president"s desk, Bush decided that it DID NOT APPLY TO HIM!! This matter is now seemed SO serious, that the American Bar Association has launched an investigation!! Bush continues to justify ANY decision or action with his "War-on-Terra"!!! The Constitution BE DAMNED!! Such "Signing Statements" are Exactly what Adolph Hitler used to consolidate his "Absolute" power in Nazi Germany; Called "Enabling Laws", they allowed Hitler to be exempt from German Constitutional Law. Hitler then began a massive program of "databases"... culled from census records, it allowed the Nazis to keep-track of, and systematically eliminate any and all opposition to their regime. SOUND FAMILIAR???
