Today the White House is expected to announce a record -Budget-deficit of $420 BILLION DOLLARS!! This ALONE is reason to get-rid of George W. Bush! Richard A. Clarke, (head of counter-terrorism under both Clinton & Bush) has written a scathing book called: "Against All Enemies, Inside America's War On Terror". Despite a few trivial, factual errors, it offers an "insider's" view of the operations in the White House. It also offers some serious criticism of the Bush Administration, and it's "War on Terror". Point #1: During the Clinton tenure, the president took the threat by Al Queda "very-seriously", and took several substantial steps to remedy & publicize the problem. Point #2: During the first 8 months of 2001, Bush ignored warnings about Al Queda, from the out-going Clinton administration, and from Clarke. Bush seemed to operate on a "Cold-War" mentality, chosing to promote his "Space-Based-Defense-Initiative" instead. Most-troubling of all.... Point #3:... Even AFTER 9-11, Bush failed to learn from his mistakes; chosing to invade Iraq, who had NO significant collaborative relationship WHATEVER with Al Queda. Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Bush; (also known as the "Three Stooges") failed to focus on the elimination of Al Queda, and the lack of domestic-security. Clarke has worked on counter-terrorism for more than 25 years, in a "bi-partisan" capacity. He also was THE person who took-control of our government immediately after "9-11"....While George W. Bush stood silent for more than SEVEN minutes, during his "reading-to-4th graders"; and Dick Cheney ran to a bunker in an "un-disclosed-location". As a "side-bar", has anyone noticed the proliferation of mysterious "P.A.C.s..... Political Action Commitees"???? It seems that the Republican Party, almost daily, invents some new "shadow" group to fund and attack Kerry. With names like: "Americans for Democracy", or "Patriots for Freedom"; they remind me of the "sham" corporate-headquarters of American companies who operate from the Cayman Islands, hiding their true natures and intentions. Why don't they just call themselves something more-accurate, like: "Republican Robber-Barons for Bush", or "Corporate-Crooks for Cheney"?????? Dave

"FLAWED INTELLIGENCE, OR FRAUD INTELLIGENCE??" B.B.C. World News tonight featured an interview with former-U.N.-Weapons-inspector Scott Ritter. Mr. Ritter Claimed that "heads should roll" not only in American & British "intelligence" agencies, but in "The political area, as well". He made his argument based on his extensive experience in Iraq, as a weapons-inspector & with the following three points. 1. Bush insisted that Iraq had "Weapons-of Mass-Destruction"; and HE WAS WRONG! (to date, NONE have been found) 2. Bush claimed that Iraq would be "better-off" without Saddam Hussein; and HE WAS WRONG!!(Iraq is gripped in a state of anarchy, and civil-war) 3. Bush claimed that invading Iraq would eliminate "terrorists"; AND HE WAS WRONG! (Bush's invasion has served to recruit MORE Al Queda and similar "Fundamentalist" Muslim extremists ) Still, "Dubyuh" insists that he's "waging a war on terrorism", and that we must "stay the course"??? What course?? I have been warning anyone who will listen, that such narrow-minded foreign-policy is stupid, dangerous, and deadly. People "boo'ed" Michael Moore at the 2002 Academy Awards, when he claimed that the war in Iraq was being waged "for false pretenses". History has proven him to be, sadly and tragically correct. More than 7000 American troops have been injured, more than 1000 have been killed, and Iraqi casualties number between 9500 & 11,000. I "boggles-my-mind", to find many Americans STILL blindly believe the "half-truths" and distortions of our President & Cabinet.Dick Cheney is STILL claiming "links" between Al Queda and Saddam, although NO credible experts agree. A large number of people are STILL "JUMPING ON THE BANDWAGON" OF PATRIOTIC FERVOR; BLAMING ANYTHING AND EVERYTING ON "TERRORISM".I guess that George thinks that it's O.K. to "KILL A CAMEL-JOCKEY-FOR CHRIST!!" I also heard today that, in Vermont and New York State,(which border Canada, and are densely populated), MOST people detained by I.N.S. ARE IMMEDIATELY RELEASED, BECAUSE OF INADEQUATE FUNDING TO DETAIN THEM!! Federal-funding to incarcerate such "illegals" has largely dried-up, leaving huge "holes" in our borders. Still, Bush wastes lives, money & resources fighting an un-winable war in Iraq; totally ignoring the "Homeland-Security" issues on American soil.... The Republican/right-wing is currently pushing it's latest "red-herring"; a Constitutional-amendment to ban "Same-sex" marriages...Such arguments are designed to divert attention from REAL issues, such as the war, and the economy. If such an amendment were to be passed, would all people wishing to obtain a marriage-license have to submit to an "Official Federal genital-inpection", to determine their TRUE gender???And what about those "Hermaphrodites"??? What category would George W. put them in??? Maybe they could get "engaged", but not "married"; since they are not really "male" or "female". Further proof that Bush is a Moron, and a dangerous religious-fanatic!! IT'S TIME TO "OUTSOURCE" BUSH & CHENEY!!! Dave

America BEWARE!!! The "FIX" is already in! In another attempt to rig the Presidential-election, Republicans have pushed fro "electronic-touch-screen" voting systems throughout America. The problem with them is there is no "Paper-trail" of voting records, and they are ALL easy to "hack". A group of independaent computer-scientists,(see : verifiedvoting.org), numbering more than 1600; have signed the "Resolution On Electronic Voting". These experts from major universities, and systems managers collectively have more than 200 P.H.D.s; and express well-founded concerns for the viability & safety of "Touch-screen" voting. Add to this, two of the largest manufacturers of these machines have CLOSE ties to the Republican party. One of the largest makers of voting machines is "E.S.&S." (Formerly A.I.S.; whose C.E.O. coincidentally was now-Nebraska-Republican Senator Charles Hagel). Of the remaining three manufacturers, the largest is DIEBOLD... Whose chairman & C.E.O. Walden O'Dell ia a Bush "Pioneer"; having raised more than $100,000 for Bush. Diebold, in 2001-2002, gave more than $100,000 in "soft-money" to the Republican National Comittee. The security of these machines is "questionable" at VERY BEST, and their links to the Republican party is HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS as well. A Diebold engineer named Ken Clark, freely admitted that someone could gain-access to the "central server" through Microsoft Access, make changes; and erase their tracks from the audit-log. As any detective knows; when a crime is comitted, FOLLOW THE MONEY-TRAIL.... It seems that the "money-trail" leads right back to the White House. Peter Jennings, today reported that a group of Republican Bush-supporters are secretly contributing money to the campaign of Ralph Nader. Apparently, Ralph Nader is MORE DANGEROUS to John Kerry, than is George W. Bush. Michael Moore's appearance on Charlie Rose, expressed his opinion, that Nader "has no business" in this election. Moore also said that he wanted ALL Americans to vote, regardless of who they vote for. Ralph Nader was NOT even able to achieve the endorsement of the GREEN PARTY; and is an "Albatross around the neck" of the Democratic Party. The Republican "Dirty-tricks" know no limits. They recently disrupted Kerry's campaign-trips to New Mexico and California by manipulating the voting of an important bill. They now provide funding to Nader , in an attempt to divide "the opposition". Bush ads on television now ask: "What if George Bush WASN'T there?" (after 9-11)..... No discussion of "issues", "facts" or the economy; merely familiar vague references to Patriotism and a "War-on-Terror". That's because Bush's tenure CANNOT HOLD-UP TO SERIOUS SCRUTINY!! "What if George Bush wasn't there??" Are Republicans now relying on some mysterious psychic?? I propose that "WE FIND OUT..... WHAT IF GEORGE BUSH WASN'T THERE"!!! Today's news also mentioned that the tiny increase in the employment rate WAS ONLY IN LOWER AND MIDDLE-INCOME JOBS. The small increases in employment that we seen recently can easily be explained by the fact that many Americans are NO LONGER COUNTED AS UN-EMPLOYED, SINCE THEIR BENIFITS HAVE EXPIRED!! many have also "quit-looking" for work, as there are NO jobs in their "field", or region. Some Americans have had to work at more-than-one low-paying job to replace the one that they lost. I believe that the slight increase in employment is related ONLY to the War in Iraq; and it's obscene-profits reaped by the "Miltary Industrial Complex"; ALL "paid-for" by an escalating National Debt. Recent "whistle-Blowers" from Halliburton have revealed "obscene" war-profiteering. Halliburton charges American taxpayers $150.00 to wash ONE load of laundry for the military; We are charged $45.00 by Halliburton for a case of soda. One former-employee disclosed that he had been paid $83,000 per year to "supervise a construction-crew" which DIDN'T EXIST!! He was told to "drive around and look busy", since his construction-crew was non-existant. One "Whistle-blower" complained, and was told that "during a war, it doesn't matter how much something costs, and no-one cares how much Halliburton gets paid". Well, it's you & I that are paying; while poor Americans, looking for military-careers are "paying the ultimate price, that of their lives".....
