Hurricane Katrina has left a devastating wake of destruction, and now the "Gulf-Coast" is descending into chaos. While the Federal Government KNEW several days ahead, to expect a "Class 5" hurricane, NO relief agencies, NO search & rescue organizations, NO supplies were "standing-by" in adjacent states. To date Bush has made numerous statements about the government "co-ordinating" relief efforts, saying that "reconstruction will take years". Sounds a lot like his "Building a democracy in Iraq is HARD WORK!!" speech. If you "dig a little deeper", you will find that virtually ALL funding for "flood-control" and levee repair & maintainance for the New Orleans/ Mobile delta area was diverted by the Republicans to fund their illegal war. It now come back to " bite them on the ass".?? or is it perhaps just another way that the gas & oil-interests can "gouge" and manipulate prices...? citing such a huge disruption of refining capacities??? We must NEVER FORGET, that the National Guard troops needed to patrol the streets and deliver relief supplies are IN IRAQ!!!DODGING BULLETS!! As of today, Bush has sent ONE hospital-ship, and EIGHT "swift-water-rescue" boats to "The Largest Natural Disaster in our nation's history"!! Such incompetence in un-forgivable. I hope that the people of the Gulf-Coast lay blame where it belongs..... on the steps of the Bush White House!!!The next time you see someone proclaiming to "suport our troops",ask them ...: "Why is the National Guard protecting Bahgdad, instead of New Orleans and Mobile??"...............Dave

A group of mis-guided "Neo-Cons" recently left Albuquerque for Crawford Texas. They plan on "Protesting" the protestors; denouncing Cindy Sheehan and the others who have paid for Bush's "colonialism" with the blood of their children. Driving their massive "R.V.s", they began some sort of "Winnebago-Jihad"; a pilgrimage of petroleum-powered passion. Claiming to "support our troops", they waste gasoline in some perverted attempt to discredit those who know the truth. Their efforts to "support the troops" would be beter- spent using that money to help the injured soldiers who will never be able to work, or to "support" the families of those killed in this attrocity. I can only assume that they are seeking their "Fifteen-minutes-of-fame".... attempting to "Be on camera" for some media event. A round trip of at least 1600 miles, one "R.V." will consume more than $400.00 dollars worth of fuel. How about "supporting the troops" by giving THEM THE $400.00!!!! True "civil-War" has now broken out in Iraq; Shiites are attacking other Shiites. A group of more than 40 Khurds were recently found executed. Numerous deadlines to write a constitution have come & gone. The level of anarchy is at an all-time-high. Iraqi "Infrastructure" is still a disaster. Is this merely "Gross-incompetance" by the Bush camp, or is it what they actually WANT?? As I have said so often; The longer the war takes, the more money the "Neo-Cons" make!!! Yet Bush cannot even avoid "war-protestors" in Utah... the 'WHITEST" STATE ON EARTH!! The Governor of Utah, recently "publically-denounced" the Iraqi quagmire. More than 1200 protestors gathered at Bush's recent "Bullet-point" speech in Utah. Still, "Dubyuh-Dumbass" repeats the SAME OLD tired, inane references to "Freedom" and "Democracy" in Iraq... AVOIDING THE ISSUES, AND THE LIES THAT HE HAS TOLD!! Where ARE those "W.M.D.s"?..... Where IS the link between Saddam Hussein and Al Queda??... Why is there NO evidence of an Iraqi "Nuke-yuh-lur" program??? THERE ARE MORE "LINKS" BETWEEN AL QUEDA AND BUSH, THAN LINKS BETWEEN AL QUEDA AND SADDAM!! While Al Queda terrorists attacked the World Trade Center, George Bush Sr. was in meetings at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel..... Meetings with Saudi "Royals" and the BROTHER OF OSSAMA BIN LADIN!!! THE NEXT DAY, "DUBYUH" CHARTERED PLANES AND QUIETLY FLEW MORE THAN 200 MEMBERS OF THE BIN LADIN FAMILY BACK TO SAUDI ARABIA!! In "Ancient Times", it would have been called a "Prophecy"... a "sign" of a greater-power. Maybe it is, or maybe it's just one of life's bizarre coincidences. Yesterday, in Albuquerque, a72 yr. old retired-military man was grocery shopping in a Wal Mart super center. Another man entered, and began stabbing his "estranged" wife, who had just filed a "restraining order" against him. The 72-yr. old man, however, had just completed training and licensing for a "concealed-carry" gun permit. Witnessing the attempted murder, he "whipped-out" his gun and fired three shots ; killing the would-be assailant. All this might not be unusual; similar instances happen often.... What IS unusual, is the man's name: "DUE MOORE". Is this a "sign" that we all need to "DUE MOORE"?? In another bizarre instance of "Prophecy", I had been very distressed about the "Christian" support of George W. Bush. I was outraged, at the "support" of this LIAR by those who claim to be "Christians". It prompted me to abandon my work as a "Music-minister", and I told someone that "I didn't give a rat's ass" about those hypocrites. That VERY DAY, I went onto my patio-deck; There, directly in front of me was something that my cat had left... as they sometimes do, (presenting their latest "prize" to their owners) As I looked down, my eyes beheld none other than a "RAT'S ASS"!!! Believe what you will, look for pictures of Elvis in your tortillas, discover images of Jesus on a potato-chip; BUT SOME THINGS ARE JUST TOO WIERD TO BE COINCIDENCES!!! Well, any one who's not "living in a cave" has heard by now about Pat Robertson's insane ravings. We always knew he was a "nut-job", but it now seems that he is a STARK RAVING LUNATIC!! Where does the Bible say: "Thou shall not kill; unless you kill Muslims, Communists, or elected officials of South American countries"??? Maybe it reads: "Thou shall not kill, unless you have "special-Forces" or "Covert-ops" agents do it". Is it not ILLEGAL to use the public-airways to advocate the murder and overthrow of a legally-elected government official??? We will probably NOT see F.C.C. sanctions against Robertson; as the F.C.C. is over-seen and controlled by Colin Powell's son and the Republican Party. An item which has gone largely un-reported, is a story on the B.B.C. ; it seems that an employee of Halliburton/ K.B.R. is now being indicted for taking more than $110,000 in bribes from Iraqi officials. It has also been reported on the Knight-Ridder news agency, that the "interim president" of Iraq has told stories of "millions of dollars in cash" being carried out of Iraq; money that was paid by America to "rebuild" the country, and to "establish democracy"!! It is no secret, that anarchy and civil-war are VERY lucrative for the "Military-Industrial-Complex" and the purveyors of weapons, such as The Carlisle Group. The "Contractors", such as Halliburton, G.E., and Bechtel also expect to make BILLIONS in "no-bid" contracts... These same corporations who, so lavishly donate to the Republican Party. I heard today, that the "average" cost of conducting a Senate re-election campaign is $10,000 PER DAY!!!! Is it any wonder that greed, corruption, and the concept of "You gotta "go along, to "get along"... is so prevalent in what is SUPPOSED TO BE a "democracy"! Such exhorbitant campaign funding costs GUARANTEE that the "average" voter's opinions MEAN NOTHING!!! The "Buying and selling" of our "Democracy" would make the "Founding-Fathers" turn-over-in-their-graves!!.... Meanwhile "Neo-Con" operatives have mounted a "smear" campaign against the anti-war protestors gathering in Crawford Texas. In typical Republican/Neo-Con style they LIE, insinuate, fabricate, distort, and invent ANYTHING which will "dis-credit" the Cindy Sheehan and the protestors. The "Talking-Heads" have carefully rehearsed their "Bullet-Points"; attempting to rally the "Faithful". Such tactics are not only shameful, but truly disgusting attacks on greiving, patriotic Americans who have REAL doubts about the war and the lies which brought it about. One Neo-Con asshole went so far as to drive his pickup over the row of crosses, erected to memorialize the victims of "Bush's Folly". It is NO coincidence that Crawford Texas is a "stone's throw" from the town of Waco (Whacko), and the religous-fanatic David Koresh and the Branch Davidians. Is there something in the water there... something that breeds fanatical, lunatics?? Regarding Pat Robertson, I urge EVERYONE who reads this, to contact their "elected-officials" to end the "700 Club"'s right to broadcast a "call-to-murder".. Every day, a few brave American soldiers are added to the "body-count" in Iraq. Countless dozens are wounded every day; yet we hear nothing about their lost-limbs, their maimed bodies and their tortured minds. "Mainstream" media would rather bring us the latest news about Michael Jackson, Brad Pitt, or some other "star". In a carefully "leaked" item in last weeks "news"; A.B.C. television told of how the C.I.A. had "knowledge" of Al Queda operations in the early 1990's and had informed then-president Clinton of their danger. What was NOT mentioned, was that Clinton launched cruise-missle-attacks against their training-centers in Afghanistan.... missing Bin Ladin by a few hours. This vague "News-story"was just another of those "Blame-Clinton" items; so frequently heard on Right-Wing- radio and T.V. I still hear Bush saying we must "Stay the course".... odd, but I thought that "the course" was to FIND WEAPONS OF "MASS DESTRUCTION"!!! NOT "NATION-BUILDING"!! Bush made numerous campaign-promises; stating that he is "Not a "nation-builder".....LIES!!! It is crucial fact, that the longer the war lasts; the more money is pilfered, and paid to "contractors", such as Bechtel and Halliburton!! Does anyone ACTUALLY BELIEVE that Bush ever wanted a "swift-victory" in Iraq?? Yesterday, Bush staged a carefully-planed "photo-op"..... PIMPING Lance Armstrong, to the media on a bike ride so-cutely called the "Tour De Crawford"... Such shameless ass-kissing and "prostitution" is an insult to Mr. Armstrong... One questions his rationale and motives for such a publicity-stunt.... While red-neck Neo-Cons are mowing down the white-cross-memorials erected outside Bush's ranch with their pickup trucks; erected to honor soldiers killed in Iraq.!!! I"m guessing that the "Tour De Crawford" didn't COME ANYWHERE NEAR the "memorial", or the war protestors. I have always admired the courage and ability of Lance Armstrong, but his recent appearance with Bush has made me throw away my "yellow bracelet". I have also ceased buying any COORS beer products; the C.E.O. of Coors is a major Republican donor and "ran-for-office" in Colorado. If I can't donate to "anti-Bush" causes; at least I can stop contributing to "Bush-backers". I encourage any "like-minded" readers to do the same. "Speak" with your checkbook!!! A recent attendee at a "Peace" rally advised the participants : "Be sure to wear you best "peace" outfit at the next protest!!"..... Undoubtedly some tie-dyed, Gratefull Dead shirt with a rainbow-colored wig. These people "just don't get it"... If they want to be "taken-seriously", if they want their message to be heard, they CANNOT look like escapees from the local mental-hospital!! They cannot present SERIOUS issues while looking like circus-clowns! "Peace-protestors" must look like "average" Americans, like Grandmothers, like school-children, like bankers, like lawyers. The anti-war message cannot spread, unless others can "Identify" with the protestors.... Unless they "see-themselves" in the faces of the protesting crowd. "Peace-protests" must look like a gathering of concerned, patriotic, rational Americans.... NOT the latest "Gay-Pride" parade!!If you want to "Subvert the dominant paradigm" look like "One of THEM"!!! So, the next time you feel like protesting, put on a suit... wear your "Sunday-Best", carry an American flag, get a hair-cut; but leave the bell-bottoms and "love-beads" at home!

I have been wondering, of late, Why do the "Neo-Cons" call themselves "Conservatives"?? What actually are they CONSERVING? Not our "environment", not our "economy", not our "civil-Rights", not our "manufacturing-base", not our "quality-of-life", not our "educational system", not "American jobs", not our "Health-Care system", not our "National-Security", not the lives of American soldiers, and CERTAINLY not the lives of more-than 30,000 Iraqis killed by our "Regime-change". It seems that the ONLY things being "Conserved" by these criminals are : Tax breaks and shelters for the "wealthy", manipulation of media to control public-opinion, and their own ability to control, corrupt, and pillage. Never-mind the phrase: "Compassionate-Conservative"..... a greater LIE has not been told in centuries!! What's so "compassionate" about people living in poverty? What's so "compassionate" about protecting stem-cells, while people suffer & die from treatable diseases??? Where's the "compassion" in arresting and detaining Afghan Muslims at Guantanamo, without evidence or "due process"? What's so "compassionate" about "down-sizing" and "out-sourcing" American jobs? Where is the "compassion" for Cindy Sheehan??? (Bush would rather attend a "Fund-Raiser", go fishing, attend a little-league baseball game, and "Take a nap", than address her) Where is the "compassion" in war-profiteering ? Never have such hypocracy and lies been "shoved-down-our-throats"....... I don't know about you; but it's making me gag!!!

Senator Joe Biden recently returned from his FIFTH trip to Iraq. Today he stated that America has "Inadequate troop strength to mount a counter-insurgency". He came to this conclusion after lengthy discussions with American commanders "in-the-field", who unanimously share this opinion. Biden was also joined by Republican Senator John McCain, who said EXACTLY the same. Have Americans forgotten that Penatagon experts WARNED the Bush administration MONTHS before this misguided, illegal adventure OF EXACTLY THIS PROBLEM!!!??? Experts recommended 300,000 troops; Cheney and Rumsfeld adamantly opposed such numbers, sending 130,000. Two thousand have now been killed, more than 13,000 have been wounded, and many are nearing the end of their enlistments.... All while Bush has attempted to "Cut" veteran's benefits, "cut" medical coverage of injured soldiers, and give BILLIONS IN NO-BID CONTRACTS TO HIS CO-HORTS, SUCH AS HALLIBURTON, BECHTEL, AND VARIOUS "CONTRACTORS" FEEDING LIKE MAGGOTS ON THE DEAD BODIES OF AMERICAN SOLDIERS!! Bush spoke many times of a "coalition of the willing"; yet NO nation bears the burden of this travesty like America. Americans make up nearly 90% of the troops in Iraq. American taxpayers are paying the BILLIONS to finance the war. (while millions have mysteriously "vanished", and NO investigation has occured). American "poor" and "middle-class" families pay the "ultimate-price" for Bush's incompetant, corrupt war; sacrificing their sons & daughters because "Dubyuh" wants to "Stay-the-course", and invokes "Patriotism" and visions of "9-11". WHAT COURSE? He has said that we "must accomplish our mission"... WHAT MISSION?? We are embroiled in an Islamic civil-war; with NO end in sight. How long will it be before Bush invokes "the draft"?? If American sons & daughters are "drafted" to maintain this insanity, the riots and protests of Viet Nam will seem tame in comparison. If this war is not stopped, Bush may see "terrorism" fermenting in the towns and villages of America; not by "Islamic-fundamentalists", but by "average" Americans who have now "gone-postal". More than 200 years ago, American patriots "rose-up" in a bloody revolution to over-throw a represive monarchy. Our "Founding-Fathers" wisely established a government with a "Balance-of-Powers" to prevent megalomaniacs from taking total control. We now see our precious democracy bought by corporate-interests, and controlled TOTALLY by radical, extremists. Our Supreme Court, The House of Representatives, the Senate, and the White House are all controlled by plotting, lying, stealing "Neo-Con" Republicans. Is this a 'BALANCE-OF-POWER"???? Bush's largest campaign-contributor in 2000 WAS ENRON!! THE SECOND-LARGEST-CONTRIBUTOR, WAS THE PHARMECEUTICAL INDUSTRY!! Drug companies who make BILLIONS, yet are constantly raising the prices of drugs. Did you ever stop-to-think, why drug-companies don't invent "cures" for diseases?? Where is the incentive to "cure-the-common-cold"?? Simply look at your "neighborhood-drug-store". Huge shelves of products to "treat-symptoms", yet NOTHING to "cure" a disease!! If they "cured" their patients, they LOSE THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! They don't want to "cure" us, THEY WANT TO "TREAT" US!!!!! Time magazine has a "cover-story" about the "epidemic of crystal-meth"; yet NO drug company has offered to cease production of ephedrine, a necessary ingredient in "Meth". Crystal-Meth keeps our police "busy", our jails "full", our lawyers occupied, our citizens poor, stupid and addicted; while Pfizer "cranks-out" billions of ephedrine tablets. (and donates millions to Bush)............ THE REVOLUTION STARTS NOW!!!

If you haven't been "paying-attention" to the media lately, one Cindy Sheehan is camped outside the "Texas White House" in Crawford Texas. He son was killed in Iraq, and she has vowed not to leave until she can ask Bush ONE question, or until he leaves. Bush is currently in Crawford "On Vacation"... setting a new record for the MOST vacation time spent by any president. Yesterday, Bush "blew-her-off" by ignoring her gathering protest... speeding off to attend a Republican "fund-raiser" .... a "barbeque" at a ranch which sells and conducts organized "hunts" of captive game.. One of those "shooting-fish-in-a-barrel" types of "Hunting", where rich assholes can shoot defenseless "wild" game. In a convoy of 15 armored vehicles, Bush sped by to raise an estimated two million dollars for his lying, criminal cohorts. Meanwhile, the Neo-Con operatives have organized bus-loads of "ditto-heads" to disrupt and harrass her and anyone else who comes to Crawford. The weekend will be VERY interesting. In a prepared "speech", Bush countered her protest . THREE times, he referred to American casualties as "The fallen", or "Those who have fallen". Hearing this, I could NOT have been more disgusted and nauseated!! His "spin-doctors" have labeled valiant American soldiers with a label that makes them sound like they might have tripped and fallen... perhaps they have skinned their shins!! THEY HAVEN'T "FALLEN", THEY ARE DEAD!!! Bush's attempts to make-light of this fact are disgusting and an insult to military members everywhere!! What is MORE disgusting, is the fact that his war-profiteering , greed, and lies are the DIRECT cause of their deaths!! Why has no-one else "seized-upon" this "spin"??? It is truly outrageous for Bush to minimize the losses and grief of patriotic Americans by calling them "Those who have fallen"!!!.... THEY ARE DEAD, YOU LYING INCOMPETANT BASTARD!!! Dave
