Today on "Air America Radio"; Allied Forces Supreme Commander General Wesley Clarke called Bush: "the Great Pretender"; and implied that he was totally "out-of-touch" with reality. Another VERY bloody day in Iraq... numerous car-bombs kill more than 50 people.; mostly children.... Bush will undoubtedly use this to stir-up support for his "War on Terror". He WILL NOT, accept responsibility for "stirring-up" the "Fundamental" Islamic fervor in Iraq; directed at anyone who associates with Americans. More various foreign-nationals were today kidnapped in Iraq, as well. The "Insurgents" somehow don't realize that Bush/Cheney "don't give a rat's ass" about any civilian casualties.; never have , never will. They are more interested in getting their checks from Halliburton, and the Carlyle Group. One question has come to mind: with all this talk about the up-coming elections in Iraq; has anyone asked: "Just who is running for office in Iraq?" Is this election another Karl Rove "puppet-show"???? If Rove, Bush, and Cheney can rig the election in America, how difficult will it be to install their own candidate in Iraq???? .......... Dave
Today is the day of the first debates; actually carefully-scripted & rehearsed responses to questions asked in advance. Unless either candidate makes an embarrasing-blunder, we will probably see nothing new. Bush will, again, make vague references to "Being safer", "a war on Terror", and "9-11"; NONE of which explain why he invaded Iraq! Instead of "defeating" terrorists, Bush has rallied Islamic -extremism, and drawn them to Iraq; where they kill American troops as well as Iraqi-civilians. (to date: an estimated 20,000 Iraqis, and 1000 Americans, as well as an estimated 20,000 injuries) Yesterday George & Barbara Bush appeared on the "Dr. Phil" show.... they attempted to portray a "human-side", discussing their "twins", and their beliefs about child-rearing. Meanwhile, America's-children ARE DYING IN AN ILLEGAL WAR!!!! I guess that the Bushs were the latest "disfunctional-family" to be featured on "Dr. Phil". A lying, "religious-fanatic, megalomaniac, married to a vapid, "out-of-touch" librarian. (whose elitist daughters are more interested in "partying" and "photo-ops" than serving their country.) Can anyone tell me; Why is it, when I tell a Republican facts about Bush, my efforts are dismissed as "Bush-Bashing"?? I am constantly amazed, flabberghasted, confused and saddened by such responses. The "Denial-Factor" is INCREDIBLE!! I could have "notarized" documents, "eyewitnesses", "video-clips", "paper-trails", "expert-witnesses", etc., and STILL be dismissed as "Bush-Bashing"!!! Why are SO many Americans so willing to believe ANYTHING they are told?? Are they SO lazy that the truth is "too difficult to learn"?? Are they merely "mindless-sheep"??Do they have such short attention-spans that they can only digest the 30-second T.V. spin??? The evidence is OVERWHELMING about the incompetance, and policy-failures of Bush/Cheney; yet HALF of all Americans are willing to vote for them!!!!! I have heard SO often: "He's our President, and we must support him"!!! If he WEREN'T our President, he would be serving-time in prison!!! Yesterday, it was disclosed that average Health-Care costs have increased by THREE TIMES the average "wage-increase"!!!! Still, we hear Bush proclaim: "The economy is strong, and on the right track". Yesterday the price of oil rose to an historical high of over $50.00 per barrel. When Bush took (TOOK) office, he was asked how he would address the problem of increasing oil-prices. He responded with some dumb-ass comment about having to "jaw-bone" with the Saudis, to have them increase production. Why would they want to increase-production; when they can get the same ammount of money for LESS oil???? Are they doing so, "from the goodness of their hearts"???? The higher the price of oil, the longer their supplies will last; and experts have said that many Saudi oil-fields are nearing depletion. Tomorrow, the debates begin. I can only hope that Bush says something stupid, as he has so-often in the past, and comes-across as the imbecile that he truly is. (Maybe another qoute about "O.B.G.Y.N.s being able to practice their... their love with the women of this country", or perhaps he will AGAIN mispronounce the word: "NUCLEAR". ) Bush is SO stupid, that when asked about "spiritual-enlightenment" he would probably change the light-bulbs in the church!! If anyone is "undecided" about their presidential-choice, I would merely suggest that they vote for the party who has TOLD THE LEAST LIES!!!! Yesterday I accidentally "dialed-in" to the A.M. radio show of one Michael Medved... some sort of "Rush-wannabe". This guy is apparently a "Right-Wing" nut-job who believes every piece of "spin" that eminates from the Republican party. He told his listeners, (if he ACTUALLY HAS ANY), Al Queda's "most-wanted"... Zarkawi, wants John Kerry to become president. This is a blatant lie!!! Nearly a year ago, Zarkawi made a statement on Al Jazeera. In it, he stated that he (Zarkawi) prefered that Bush be re-elected; as it made it easier to recruit sympathizers for his Jihad. He also said that Bush's "Religious-extremism" and "stupidity" were to his advantage. Michael Medved STILL chooses to repeat the tired-scare-tactics proclaimed by Bush. Meanwhile Bush's lack of insight into foreign-policy has turned Iraq into an anarchistic-quagmire.; and Islamic terrorists are now flocking to Iraq to wage war on the "Infidels". Al Queda's greatest "recruiting-tool" is that "tool" from Texas.... Dubyuh-dumbshit. How long are we expected to "stay-the-course", even when we all know that "course" has been wrong from the beginning???American police-forces, Border-Patrols, harbor-Police, Airport Security, Immigration, etc. ARE ALL SUFFERING FROM LACK-OF-FUNDS.; as Bush continues to "pour-water-down-a-rat-hole" in Iraq. The policy-failures of Bush/Cheney have made America LESS-SAFE THAN BEFORE 9-11!!!! As for Michael Medved, he proudly mentioned that his father had "moved to Israel".... He is not even aware that , by emmigrating, he is "part-of-the-problem" in the Middle East. The festering-sore that is Palestine is at the heart of Islamic hatred for America. The un-qualified and un-restrained support of Israel, is "fuel-on-the-fire"; while Palestinians are hearded into "Detention-camps", and their lands appropriated by Israeli settlers. One might think that, having experienced "The Holocoust" in WWII, that the Israelis might realize what hatred is caused by military-invasions, detention-camps, and appropriation of lands!!! They are as much a part of the "problem" as the solution! Mr. Medved's father should "stay-the-hell-out" of Israel, and Medved himself might do-well to quit talking "out-of-his-ass"!!! The latest Bush T.V. ad says that Kerry's proposed tax-plan would increase "small-business" taxes to rates "higher than those of some multi-national corporations"!!!!! DUH!!!....In this latest distorted half-truth, they hope that you have forgotten: MANY "MULTI-NATIONAL CORPORATIONS PAY LITTLE OR NO TAXES, DUE TO "CREATIVE" ACCOUNTING, AND "OFF-SHORE TAX-SHELTERS"!! (Cayman islands, Anderson Accounting, etc.) Many of Bush's Pharmaceutical-company donors have "corporate-headquarters" registered in such "off-shore" countries, and therefore PAY NO TAXES!! These facades, are convenient loop-holes in America's tax-code, and serve to benefit ONLY the very- wealthy. What the Bush ads DON"T mention, is that small-business tax-rates are ALREADY much higher than most "multi-national corporations"! The Republicans continue to lie, distort, and tell "half-truths" in order to persuade Americans to vote "Bush/Cheney". The "Swift-Boat Veterans for truth" is SUCH FLAGRANT LIES, that even the Republicans Party has distanced itself from their claims. Still people accept them as truth!!! Yesterday the F.C.C. announced a $550,000 fine against C.B.S. for the "Janet Jackson" boob-show, during the Super Bowl. The "Christian-Moral Majority" has apparently NEVER SEEN A HUMAN BREAST!!! I would rather have my children see breasts on television, than see the countless dead-bodies that have resulted from Bush's-War. Is it a coincidence, that the fines were imposed on C.B.S.; the network who agressively (apparently TOO agressively) investigated the National Guard scandal of "Dubyuh"???. The 2 "most-obscene-boobs" on television are George W. Bush, and Dick Cheney!!!! " Is it coincidence that Martha Stewart received a lengthy court-battle, and "jail-time" for the same type of "insider-trading" that occurs daily in the corporate boardrooms that so-generously contribute to Bush???? (Martha is a major Democratic-Party-contributor) Interim-President" of Iraq, yesterday repeated the "same-old-shit".... a re-hash of tired Republican spin. Few Americans know that this "puppet-President" is a cousin of Mr. Chalabi.... the "informant" whose lies were used as an excuse to invade Iraq!! Few Americans also know that this "interim-president", at one time worked for the C.I.A.... (Remember who used to run the C.I.A.???? "George-the-first") The new C.I.A. director JUST HAPPENS TO BE a senator from Florida... home of brother -Jeb; and was also instrumental in getting massive Federal-aid to rebuild the mansions on Florida's coasts; destroyed by recent hurricanes. Many Americans are being evicted from their homes, while millionaires in Florida are getting new ones. If we are supposed to see an "American-style" of Democracy in Iraq after the elections, we can expect: "nepotism", corporate-raiding of public assets, election-fraud, bribery, government-control of the media, and president who WAS NOT DULY-ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE!!!...... Watched the "Press Conference" in the "Rose Garden" today...... Bush and the new Prime Minister (Alawhi?) repeated the same-old rhetoric that "things were going well". The press Conference seemed, oddly, like another "stump-speech". Bush again reminded us how "well" things were going in Iraq, how he was going to rid the world of "terrorists", and how he has "sown the seeds of Democracy" in the Middle East. Why, when it would be SO obvious to do so, has he not "sown the seeds of Democracy", IN PALESTINE??? Rather than address a major cause of Islamic outrage and it's subsequent "terror", Bush has incited MORE outarge and terror by ignoring the genocide against Palestinians. I am reminded of the phenomenon that often surrounds "movie stars" or similar celebrities.... They surround themselves with "yes-men", and worshipers, who are afraid or unable to recognize impending doom. No one was willing to tell Elvis, or Robert Downey Jr. that they had drug-problems. No one in Britney Spears "entourage" is willing to tell her that she shouldn't have gotten married. No one is willing to tell Madonna that he recent movies "sucked". George W. Bush, too, seems surrounded with those who agree with him and nod their heads like some vast army of "bobble-headed" dolls. During the R.N.C., I was somehow reminded of a vast sea of those "wind-up" monkeys; who have NO brains, but mindlessly play their cymbals... The "Republican-Loyal" chanted and applauded ANYTHING that was said, like the mindless-robots that they have become. I heard some Republican-"mouthpiece" on Charlie-Rose show; He was gloriously proclaiming how the Republicans had talked about "issues" at the convention. I was aghast... I could not help but wonder; What convention HAD HE ATTENDED???? The R.N.C. was NOTHING but a bunch of "glittering-generalities" and patriotic clap-trap!! I , (painfully) watched the entire R.N.C.; and NEVER heard serious discussions of "issues"!!! It seems that "Dubyuh-Dumbass" is afraid to seek out the opinions of anyone who disagrees with him, seeking only to listen to the "yes-men" who agree with his twisted agendas. Bush either a "visionary"; or a narrow-minded extremist.... I am inclined toward the later. It would seem that "Denial" is ALSO a river that runs through Crawford Texas, and Washinton D.C..................... Dave
Since the upcoming November elections are so important, Americans are being asked to use their cars to remind each other to vote, as well as to help to predict the outcome of the election. From now through November, Kerry-supporters are being asked to drive during the day with their headlights "on". Similarly, Bush-supporters are being asked to drive at night with their headlights "off". Joke: "What is the biggest dope-producing region in the world?.......... Crawford Texas". Saw a new bumpersticker: "George W. Bush: leader of American DUMB-OCRACY" . .............It is evident that the Republicans cannot logically defend their failed policies, that's why they must resort to personal-attacks against John Kerry. The Bush/Cheney "mouthpieces" have been flooding the airwaves with outcries against "60 Minutes" and their apparently-forged evidence against Bush. .. Think about it: Sixty-Minutes is being demanded to "apologize" for ONE item of deceit; yet Colin Powell's testimony before the United Nations, (which "justified" the Iraq war) CONTAINED NO LESS THAN 22 EXAMPLES OF "DECEIT"!!!!! ...."Mobile-Biological-Laboratories, Aluminum-tubes for enriching uranium, yellow-cake uranium, on-going chemical & biological-weapons programs, tons of anthrax, an active nuclear-weapons-program, proven links between Al Queada & Saddam, etc......" If the Bush/Cheney administration hasn't been lying, then they are surely the most un-informed, inept government in history!!! C.B.S. News and Dan Rather today admitted that the "questionable" documents about Bush's National Guard service "cannot be authenticated". They also apologized for building a news-story around them, when they had been deceived by the man who supplied them. One Bill Burkett ( who historically has spoken out against Bush) today admitted that , while he still believes the documents to be authentic, that he had deceived C.B.S. about their origin. Burkett admitted the he diverted media-attention from himself, by claiming that the documents had been supplied by someone else. The TRUTH is: We will probably NEVER know the truth about the "service" or lack-thereof of George Bush during his tenure in the National Guard. Now the Republican "mouthpieces" are calling for investigations, implying that the D.N.C. is engaged in a "conspiracy". All this has done nothing but "muddy the waters" in this election. We don't know what happened 30 years ago, we DO know what has happened in the last 3 years. Most Americans do NOT know that , in August, American troops were subject to an average of 83 attacks PER DAY IN IRAQ!! ; This while Bush spews the "same-old" lies about how-well things are going in his "War on Terror". The new Prime Minister of Iraq (who is NOT generally accepted as a legitimate ruler) stated that "thousands" of Al Queda and their sympathizers are now streaming into Iraq He has also said that Iraq needs TWICE as many police and security troops, as they are now training. The "new" terrorist's estimated strength is OVER 100,000!! NEARLY AS MANY AS THE NUMBER OF AMERICAN TROOPS !!! Today 2 more Americans were killed in Afghanistan. It is now known, that Saddam Hussein HAD NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS, Had no biological- weapons program, and NO connection to Al Queda. As a result of Bush's inept, short-sighted "War-On-Terror", He has created MORE terrorists than he has stopped. He has squandered vast resources that were needed to protect America's ports & borders. He has inflamed millions of Muslims who now hate America more than ever. He has virtually ignored the underlying conflict (The Palestinian/ Israeli bloodbath) which is the true seed of hatred the Arab world. America's un-questioning support of Israel and failure to broker any sort of "peace", has fermented "fundamental" Islamic hatred of America. Bush continues to "stay-The Course".... the same type of course that has killed tens-of-thousands of Palestinians in the last 30 years; the same type of course that killed thousands in Ireland. Bush's lame references to Saddam's "torture-chambers" and "Mass-graves" are without-merit; when considered in the light of similar genocide in Africa. Why did Bush invade Iraq? when the attrocites in Africa were SO MUCH WORSE???? There's MORE OIL IN IRAQ, THAN IN AFRICA!!!! Bush's policies are SO short-sighted, that he has made America FAR MORE DANGEROUS !! It has been said that "Bush thinks that "spiritual-enlightenment" is "changing the bulbs in the church". George W. continues to tout his plan to reduce prescription-drug costs.... A shell-game that does not address the true problem. In 1997, laws expired that prohibited the advertising of such drugs. As a result, we are now inundated with such "D.T.C." (Direct To Consumer) ads. The Pfizer company will spend $100 MILLION DOLLARS next year alone, TO ADVERTISE VIAGRA!!! Glaxo-Smith spent $70 MILLION in 2003 to advertise "Imitrex" alone. THE TOTAL ADVERTISING COST OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS IN AMERICA IS MORE THAN $128.3 BILLION DOLLARS!!!! This doesn't include the "loss-of revenue" resulting from patients "self-diagnosing", and wasting the time of their doctors; the result of vague & misleading television ads. It has come to my attention that on Sept. 7th 2001; 4 days BEFORE THE ATTACKS ON THE WORLD TRADE CENTERS, Florida Governor Jeb Bush enacted "executive Order # 01-261, and Executive-order #01-262". These "Executive orders" esatblished "Martial-Law" in Florida, needing ONLY to be signed into effect by Jeb. This is unusual, since THERE WERE NO "NATURAL-DISASTERS" AT THE TIME, AND NO APPARENT REASON FOR THEM!!! Is it coincidence, that his brother "happened to be in Florida" at the time of the 9-11 attacks, and that Jeb was ready to establish "martial-Law"???? If I were a "conspiracy-theorist", I might believe that Jeb Bush HAD ADVANCE KNOWLEDGE OF THE ATTACKS OF 9-11!!!! In late-breaking news: P.B.S. "Democracy Now" has reported that a "support-group" of 9-11 widows has publicly endorsed John Kerry, and denounced Bush's war. These are people whose spouses were killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center, and they are publicly declaring their opposition to Bush, his attempts to justify the Iraq war, and link it to the 9-11 tragedy. Bush said that Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction"......He lied. Bush said that Iraq had links to Al Queda..... He lied. Bush said that Iraqis would welcome Americans as "liberators"..... He lied. Bush said that Iraqi "oil-revenues" would pay for the re-building of Iraq...... He lied. Bush said that he "honorably" served in the National Guard......He lied. Bush said that the Saudi Royal-Family had nothing to do with "9-11".....He lied ( a Saudi family member gave money to a "front"-charity, which then gave it to Al Queda) Bush said that the Saud Bin Ladin family had "broken off" contact with Osama Binladen.........He lied. (Bin Ladin family members attended a wedding with Osama, about 1 year before 9-11) Bush said that he would save Medicare.........He lied.....Pathological liers lie SO-OFTEN that they begin to believe their own fabrications. ( a documented, psychological FACT) Since Bush has such a consistant record of lies, why should we believe ANYTHING that Bush says about John Kerry?? He also has numerous Right-Wing pundits, who also have extensive records of un-truths, distortions, and total fabrications. (See Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O'Reilly) ........ C.B.S. News continues to "stand-by" it's story; reputing claims that the incriminating- documents from Bush's National-Guard duty are "forgeries". C.B.S. interviewed typewriter-experts who state that The disputed "super-script" WAS INDEED available on typewriters of the era. They also produced additional ducuments, (PROVIDED BY THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION), that related to the National-Guard service, AND ALSO CONTAINED "SUPER -SCRIPT"!!! The Republican liars continue to dispute these documents... These documents were also obtained from multiple sources; making their forgery highly-unlikley. C.B.S. also interviewed experts in Computer-word-processing software. They stated that it would be "Very-difficult" to produce such documents on a computer; as it would require defeating and over-riding the "code" of the software.. turning off and on certain feature of the program. Even if this evidence IS untrue, there is enough evidence of incompetance, corruption, and stupidity IN THE LAST 3 & 1/2 YEARS!!! Donald Rumsfeld recently appeared at a National Press-Club meeting; twice he made statements about Osama Bin Ladin, and attributed them to Saddam!! He was subsequently embarrased, and corrected by someone on-stage. ("Fruedian slip"????, or does he NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE??) Seek out the quote by "dubyuh-dumbass" recently, where he said something about O.B.G.Y.N.s "not able to practice their love on female patients"!!! This man is TRULY a moron!! and unable to extemporize. ( at least he spelled "O.B.G.Y.N.; and didn't say "obgyn") If we are forced to endure 4 more years under a "lame-duck" president, who is EVEN MORE un-accountable, WE ARE IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION!! Bush is a "loose-cannon" already, a "religious-fanatic" who panders to corporate interests and the so-called "Christian-Right". If he is re-elected, he will be "un-touchable" and TRULY DANGEROUS. (As if he isn't already) Republican pundits continue to LIE about issues, make predictions about a possible Kerry-administration, and instill fear with vague references to "terror". Bush/Cheney could EASILY have funded our police, protected our harbors, funded "Border-Patrols", increased security at airports, and STILL HAD MONEY LEFT-OVER ; with the money that they spent on an ill-advised, illegal war in Iraq. "Terrorism" is a concept; It is NOT a "nation" that can be invaded & defeated. In "Democracy", it is possible to kill a president, It is NOT possible to stop Democracy or defeat America by the death of one politician. It is EQUALLY impossible to "defeat-terrorism" by carpet-bombing "Insurgents". Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld JUST DON'T GET IT!!! If they cannot fathom this concept, they either "too stupid", or they have other agendas. Remember the "War on Poverty"? How about the "War on Drugs"???? These are slick "catch-phrases" that rally the support of the un-thinking masses. They are NOT serious attempt to solve problems!! Similarly, the "War on Terrorism" is a "non-concept" that cannot succeed. We will only continue in a "War" that cannot be won, in virtually EVERY part of the world, spending enormous amounts of money, and creating far more terrorist and Islamic hatred in the process. It seems that such complex issues are not "grasped" by the former-alcoholic, "C" student who now occupies the White House..... Either that, or his interests are other-than those of the ENTIRE WORLD!!! Learn about his corporate-connections, his connections to the Saudi Royal family, and THEN decide who Bush ACTUALLY WORKS-FOR!! The new book by Kitty Kelley which claims "Dubyuh" "did-drugs" while his father was president, used the ex-wife of Bush-cousin Neil Bush as a source. This woman has since denounced these claims on many national media outlets. Either the "Men-In-Black" have powerful methods of persuasion, or the claims are indeed "untrue". The "jury is still out" on this matter, and we may NEVER really know the truth. We DO know that, for 30 years, Bush was "an alcoholic", he DID lose his "flight-rating" from a missed-physical (a physical that requires drug-testing), He DID squander the National Budget-Surplus, He DID bankrupt at least 2 companies in Texas, He DID kill more than 14,000 (to date ) Human beings by invading Iraq. The only way to defeat the "lies" of the Republicans, is to educate the "undecided"... The "Republican-Loyal" continue to believe whatever "spin", distortions, and total-fabrications that saturate the media. "George-the Lesser" has recently been babling vague inferences to "Ownership"; how Americans must "own" something. Be prepared, this is a pre-cursor for his ill-advised attempt to "privatize" parts of Social Security.... I.E. allow Americans to invest a part of their Social-Security taxes in Wall Street. We ALREADY know how safe such investments are: see the nearly 2000 point collapse of the Stock Market after 9-11, or how about the "dot-compost-pile" of failed internet companies, or the FRAUDULENT business-practices of Bush-contributors such as : ENRON, ARTHUR ANDERSON, WORLDCOM, etc. ALL REPUTABLE ECONOMIC-EXPERTS AGREE, if such funds are removed from Social Security ( to independantly invest), the Social Security System WILL BE INSOLVENT WITHIN 10 YEARS!!! The threat of massive budget-deficits hasn't slowed Bush's "trickle-down" economic theory yet!!! Experts agree, that if such changes are made, the massive numbers of retiring "Baby-boomers" will get NOTHING, and all other tax-payers will be forced to shoulder the burden of the elderly who now collect Social Security. Bush TRULY has "no-clue". The "Trickle-down" economics (as seen under Reagan, and continued under BUSH-I) resulted in HUGE Federal-Deficits, massive unemployment, & inflation. "W" continues to believe in these strategies, which benefit ONLY his corporate- contributors; at the expense of middle-class Americans. George, however, continues to "stay-the-course", much like his "pig-headed" strategy in Iraq. Is it making America "safer", and financially-sound to "stay-the-course" , rather than to learn from your mistakes?? The record of "dubyuh's" mistakes is truly staggering. The record of his "successes" is difficult, if not impossible, to establish. The ONLY strong economic-indicator in this recession is a healthy real-estate-market; which dates back to the Clinton-administration; and can largely be credited to Alan Greenspan., NOT GEORGE BUSH OR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!! In the latest episode of "Rush-Limbaugh-Talks- out -of-his ass": It has been reported that Rush Limbaugh recently criticized John Edwards for not serving in the Viet Nam war. DUH! John Edwards is NOT OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN DRAFTED, AND THE WAR WAS OVER!!!!!! I guess that Oxycontin abuse DOES CAUSE BRAIN DAMAGE!!!! "NOW" with Bill Moyers reported last night , that Richard Clarke WARNED Condi Rice , Dick Cheney, John Ashcroft, George Bush, about C.I.A. "Intel" that predicted imminent Al Queda attacks using aircraft, immediately after Bush took-office. EIGHT MONTHS LATER, Bush & Rice convened a meeting regarding Al Queda, DID NOT INCLUDE CLARKE (WHO WAS THE #1 AUTHORITY ON THEM), AND TOOK NO ACTION WHATEVER!!!! When Clinton had "credible" intelligence about Al Queda, he launched 75 cruise-missles in an attempt to KILL Osama Bin Ladin!!!(The Republicans claimed it was "The tail-wagging-the-dog"... to divert attention away from Monica) Yet Bush DID NOTHING!!! Republican "Truth-Assasins" are hard at work trying to discredit the recently-discovered documents about Bush's National Guard tenure. C.B.S. News, which originally uncovered them, is standing-by their authenticity. Critics have claimed that #1... the "type-style" is not from the era.; however, that particular "type-style" (font) has been used since 1934. They also claim that the "th" found in the reference of "111th" is typed in "super-script", and claim that such "super-script" was not available on typewriters of the era. C.B.S. news produced similar documents, from the National Guard, dated 1968; which were typed on a typewritwer,a nd contained "super-script". C.B.S. also stated that such typewriters, though not common, WERE available at the time. C.B.S. also elisted the help of handwriting experts, who have found the signatures to be authentic. They also interviewed a staff-member, who knew the author/officer; He stated that he found NOTHING in them that would indicate forgery, and that they were consistent with documents & procedures from the National Guard at that time, and that they "sounded" authentic. Today Delta Airlines announced the layoff of 5000 workers. A report on Health-Care has found that, since Bush has been in office, 5,000,000 jobs NO LONGER PROVIDE HEALTH CARE!. The same research has found that Health-Care premiums have increased by 11% in the last year alone! The fourth straight year of double-digit increases. Gee, I thought George Bush said that our economy was "strong" and "getting-stronger"; that we had "turned a corner".. Funk & Wagnall's Dictionart includes one definition of "Terrorism" as: " A system of government that rules by intimidation". Sound familiar??? Cheney recently claimed that voting for Kerry would cause another "terror attack"; Zell Miller claims that Kerry would arm our military "with spit-wads", Homeland Security raises the "Threat-Level" at the drop-of-a-hat, Bush CONSTANTLY reminds us of his lofty "War on Terror", a minisule ammount of anthrax is mailed to a Democratic-Party leader (why not a Republican?)... More people are killed on America's highways every year, than died on 9-11; yet Bush/Cheney beats the drums of war; a war that enriches Halliburton, O.P.E.C., the Saudis, McDonald- Douglas, Boeing, and the myriad of Military-industrialist contributors to the Republican coffers. Republican "spokesmen" dismiss the recent findings about Bush's National Guard lies, as "old news, and political posturing", while the "Swiftboat" veterans spew forth half-truths, and out-of-context distortions. Florida prosecutors are working toward seeking an indictment of "fat-boy, hypocrite, drug-addict", Rush Limbaugh for trafficking in Oxycontin. Limbaugh apparently bought Oxycontin DIRECTLY from at least three doctors, without prescriptions, bypassing pharmacies and their subsequent scrutiny. Rush could possibly serve some "SERIOUS" PRISON-TIME"!! Watch for more developments on this. An economist recently compared the increases in "C.E.O" pay raises, in the last 10 years, to the increases in "The minimum wage". If the minimum-wage were increased on an equal-basis, it would be OVER $15.00 PER HOUR!!!! (instead of the current $5.15 per hour) These are the same C.E.O.s that GENEROUSLY support our un-elected President. Nevada election-officials have been conducting tests of "touch-screen" voting-machines that produce a "paper-receipt" of every ballot. Why is it that we can get a receipt for ANY cash transaction, ANY purchase, ANY library book, etc. , but have such difficulty getting one for our votes??? DEMAND VOTER REFORM!!! Dave

The three major t.v. networks reported today that previously un-discovered documents regarding George W. Bush's National Guard duty have surfaced. It seems that Bush's Commanding officer kept a "log", which contains new evidence. George was ORDERED to report for a flight-physical, failed to report for that physical, and was subsequently removed from flight-school. His instructor also wrote about pressure "from-above" to write "favorable" reports about George's performance. (or lack thereof) This, after the man who got George into the National Guard, came forward and admitted that he "made phone calls" to the right people to keep Bush from being drafted and sent to Viet Nam. The White-House "spin-doctors" have already begun denying the claims made in the Kitty Kelley book; although it has yet to "go on sale".... an advance copy was made available ONLY to the Associated Press. Bush's press-secretary has denounced the book as "Partisan politics", without having read it! Air America Radio compared the "War on Terror" to a large pool of mercury, dangerous under certain circumstances; Bush's "boot-heel" approach to combating it has only caused it to spread into hundreds of smaller, dangerous pools. We are now seeing Iraqi "insurgents" brandishing VERY NEW weapons & munitions, obviously being obtained from other countries. (probably Iran and Syria), making alliences between "Bath-Party" members, Shiites, Suniis, and misc. radical foreign-nationals. Many experts on foreign-policy have compared Iraq to a "petri-dish"; fermenting every form on radical-Islamic "fundamentalism". Bush claims to be "Making America safer"; yet ALL experts of Middle Eastern affairs agree that MORE terrorists are being created than we are able to kill, or capture. It has also come to light, that many of the "detainees" in Guantanamo Cuba, are actually innocent Afghanis who were "turned-in" as Al Queda for the cash rewards offered by invading American forces. Is this Democracy in Action?? George continues to "stay the course" like a lemming headed over the cliff!

Today Kitty Kelley released her new book, which claims that George W. was "doing drugs"(COCAINE) IN THE WHITE HOUSE, while his father was president..... as well as during his "service"in the National Guard(Marijuana). The death-toll of American troops killed in Iraq today reached 1000. Senator Bill Graham's new book "Intelligence Matters" claims that Saudi-intelligence agents collaborated with the 9-11 highjackers; and that efforts to question them after 9-11 were squelched by the Bush/Cheney admin. It was also disclosed today that Dick Cheney had 5 "deferments" during the Viet- Nam war.... which effectively kept him out of the military. More about the R.N.C..... While the Republicans attempted to show a diverse, ethnically-mixed constituency, it was "overlooked" that Zell Miller was elected to the Senate on a "segregation" platform. It can only help John Kerry, that such a "raving lunatic" speaks for the Republicans. (Miller is known in his home-state as: "Zig-Zag-Zell".... maybe for his frequent policy-shifts, or perhaps for his choice of rolling-papers!) As for Dick Cheney, he made frequent mention of John Kerry's voting record against Military-spending. The TRUE record is that Kerry voted against such weapons-programs at a time when ALL Congress was trying to reduce Military-spending; INCLUDING DICK CHENEY!!! Odd, how Cheney has forgotten his own voting-record on such items!! John Kerry has voted, in 16 years out of 19, FOR weapons systems for our military!! The Republican Party , it seems, has a limited grasp of the truth. They manipulate data to suit their own needs, and frequently "make-things-up". In New mexico, more than 3000 newly-registered voter applications have been discovered to be "highly questionable", or outright fraudulent. These registrations have been traced back to an "independant" company, who has been trying to register voters for Nader. Check out a site called: corpwatch.org.......... it details how Dick Cheney is STILL paid in excess of $180,000 annually BY HALLIBURTON!!!! Dick Cheney, who headed the comittee to select a Vice Presidential candidate for the Republicans.... (He selected HIMSELF!!!) They also relate how Cheney lied about accounting practices for Halliburton; how he lied about knowledge of Halliburton's liabilities in asbestos-related litigation, and how he learned "creative-accounting" from the Arthur Anderson firm.... Those crooks who defrauded millions in the ENRON scandal. If Cheney is paid MORE by Halliburton, than he is paid as Vice President; who does he ACTUALLY WORK FOR???? Been watching the R.N.C. Convention??? It's scary how the Republicans have attempted to portray a party that they are NOT. They have strategically placed minorities , to be "on-camera". They have speeches by their "token-black-guy", "token-woman", and the "warm-fuzzy" speeches by the Bush children. ..... :) :) :) They even had a "DEMOCRAT" ! One Zell Miller, former Democrat, spoke out against Kerry. It seems that the Republicans too KNOW HOW TO "FLIP-FLOP"!! Not one speaker has yet mentiones anything about "issues". They have ALL made personal attacks against Kerry; and vague references to such concepts as: "vision", "trust", "patriotism", etc. How odd, that they claim these concepts, when Bush has the LEAST "vision",& "trust", and uses "patriotism" for VERY twisted agendas. Exactly HOW MUCH MONEY HAS HALLIBURTON MADE FROM THIS WAR??? Republican speakers never faill to mention the "thousand" of victims of Saddam Hussein; but NEVER ADMIT TO THE 12,000+ casualties that were victims of Bush's War. How is it justifiable to kill 12,000 people in Iraq; when Saudi terrorists killed 2300 people on 9-11? I guess Bush has forgotten the part about "Thou Shall Not Kill"; while claiming to be a "Christian". The Convention attempts to project a "warm-fuzzy" image of a party that reresents ALL Americans; while they are ACTUALLY a party of the "corporate-elite", and the "Ultra-rich".... TRULY a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing. The "Bush-twins" appearance was a lame-attempt to put a more-human "spin" on their father. If they REALLY want to show their support for his war, they should ENLIST IN THE MILITARY, AND GO TO IRAQ!!! Viet Nam was wrong, Iraq is wrong, and Bush is WRONG!!!! The protests in New York City are the largest in history; yet "mainstream media" didn't mention the protestor who sat within 20 feet of Cheney.
