Tomorrow is the 31st of January; George W. "Dumb-ass" is making his "State-of-The-Union" address on national television. By all expert accounts, he will remind us of how the "war-on Terra" is "Hard-work". He will remind us of what a "qualified" judge Alito is; he will remind us of how noble it is to "establish democracy" in the Middle East; he will warn Palestine to abandon it's militia wing of Hamas.... in order to become a "partner in peace"; while continuing to "scare" us with vague references to "terra" and Al Queda. What He WON"T mention is the recent financial woes of Ford Motor Co., and the loss of more than 50,000 jobs by Ford & General Motors. What He WON'T mention is the obscene "Federal Deficit".... after he campaigned on "Fiscal-responsibility" and "small government"; What he WON'T mention is the "Abramoff-scandal" which he denies any knowledge... (although Jack Abramoff made DOZENS of visits to the White House, was photographed AT LEAST five times in the company of Bush, was the head of Bush's "transition-team" after the election, and personally raised more than $100,000 for the Bush presidential campaign... becoming a "Young-Pioneer" of the Republican party.) Bush has publically claimed that he "never met the man"...AN OBVIOUS LIE!!! He won't mention the fact that his "Chief-of Staff" (Scooter Libby) is now the target of a Federal indictment; and Karl Rove and Dick Cheney are being investigated as "C0-conspirators" in that felony case!! Bush probably WON'T mention today's report that EXXON made a PROFIT of $36 BILLION in the year 2005 Is it any wonder that Dick Cheney has sought to keep "secret" the details of his "Energy-Policy-Meetings" with EXXON and others???; He WON'T mention that American-citizen's "rate-of-savings" has become "negative"... in other words, Americans are now WITHDRAWING their savings.. an occurance which has not happened since 1936, and the "Great Depression"!! He won't mention that , as "Commander-in-Chief", his invading army FAILED to secure 300 tons of "High-explosives" in the first weeks of the war.... A fact which is now KILLING American troops EVERY DAY! These "High-explosives" are now the main component of the notorious "I.E.D.s"... Improvised Explosive Devices. In Bush's attempt to "establish democracy" in Iraq, "Improvised Explosive Devices" have been detonated 10,526 times in the last year!!! General Shinseki's advice to deploy FAR more troops was "dismissed" by Wolfowitz & Rumsfeld....Perhaps a FEW MORE "GUARDS" AT THE MUNITIONS DUMP??? In "past years", such incompetance and corruption would be solved with 'Tar & feathers".... or "at the end of a rope". Bush continues to defend his "warrantless" wiretaps, as being necessary to "Fight Terra". An N.S.A. official was quoted as saying that "If the president does it, it MUST be legal"!!! Hmmmm... Not even Richard Nixon had the "balls" to tell THAT lie!! I seem to remember something in the Constitution about "illegal search & seizure" BEING PROHIBITED!! I also recall a time, when J.Edgar Hoover ILLEGALLY "wire-tapped" such "dangerous" people as: Martin Luther King Jr., Bobby Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, and other "possible communists"!!! We will soon see the addition of Alito to the Supreme Court; a man whose "rulings" have historically favored the rights of corporations over the rights of citizens, and have protected the sanctity of the "Executive" branch of government. The Republicans have now secured their "stranglehold" on democracy, monopolizing ALL three branches of Federal government while spying on ANYONE they choose, and manipulating our "media" to distort and conceal their crimes. WE CANNOT WAIT UNTIL '08... WE MUST DEPOSE THE REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS DURING THE NEXT ELECTION!!!! ....... Dave...... P.S.; If the Bush administation has "given financial aid" to Palestine (which is considered a "terrorist" state).... Shouldn't the "Patriot Act" allow us to "seize the assets" and wire-tap the offices of the White House???

While Jack Abramoff is "spilling-his guts" to federal prosecutors, The Republican Monopoly is scrambling to look like "reformers". This is an old trick; best executed by Chicago's Mayor Richard J. Daly... Whenever a scandal would erupt, he would immediately start an "investigation" and fire a few people. The citizens would soon forget the matter, and Daly would become a "reformer"... getting credit for "cleaning-up" government. (Although, in most cases, he was well aware of the corruption long before it became "public"; in some cases, he was actually INVOLVED in those scandals) Republicans are frantically auditing their books, quickly disposing of any money which might have "ties" to Abramoff or his cronies. George W. Bush, in a grandiose gesture, returned a few hundred dollars; giving it to "charity". It is NOT well-known, that he actually received SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS!! Bush has also sought to "block" any information about numerous visits made by Abramoff to the White House; its seems that Jack "Rip-em-off" had special and discreet accesss to the Bush cabinet. Remember the Cheney "Energy-Policy-Meetings"?....similar attempts to hide illegal activity are now taking place to hide the activities of a "CONFESSED FELON" IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!! We must DEMAND accountability of our so-called "elected-officials". We must DEMAND full disclosure of their activities! We cannot let them hide behind "executive-priveledge" and perpetrate crimes!! Alberto Gonzales (Attorney General) has attempted to justify the illegal N.S.A. surveillance; citing covert wire-taps conducted by Bill Clinton of a C.I.A. "mole".... It is HARDLY a parallel; as the C.I.A. operative was a GOVERNMENT-EMPLOYEE, AND A SPY!!, not some Quaker "peace-activist"!! This is an example of "Rule Number Two" of the Neo-Con agenda.. Rule Number One states: "9-11 changes everything"...... Rule Number Two states: "when attacked, blame Bill Clinton". I seem to remember a concept, taught in American History class, about "Judicial oversight" and "a balance of Powers". It now seems that George W. Bush has not grasped those concepts; chosing to become a facist dictator.... wielding ABSOLUTE power..... because of "Rule Number One".... "9-11 changes everything"!!! Our democracy and our Constitution CLEARLY are based on the balance-of power between the "Executive", "Judicial" , and "Legislative" branches of government. With a monopoly in Congress, and the Supreme Court, Bush has become "drunken-with-power", justifying anything and everything by saying that "we're at war, It's hard work!" If we abandon our long-fought principals of democracy by claiming that "9-11 changes everything", we cannot expect America to survive. We now see the "Culture-of Corruption", controlled by rich, corporate-special-interests, with a "puppet-king" at the throne. I call on every Americn to seek impeachment of this "despot" president; THE REVOLUTION STARTS NOW!!

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!....We've taken down Delay!!!Tom (the hammer) Delay formally resigned as "Speaker-of-the House"..LET'S PUT "THE HAMMER", IN THE "SLAMMER"!!The fallout from his corrupt, greedy and illegal tenure has finally caught up with him. Yesterday, "Dubyuh-Dumbass" convened a meeting of prestigous former-experts in "Foreign-affairs". He staged a meeting with most of the former "Secretaries-of State", Secretaries-of-Defense", etc.; in a supposed "brainstorming" session to address his failures in Iraq. After spending less than 15 minutes in the "meeting", Bush adjourned to attend "another meeting".... just enough time to pose for the cameras, but not enought to SERIOUSLY address any "issues". One might think that such a meeting would be the TOP priority of this president. Rarely have such knowledgable and experienced experts met to discuss ANYTHING, let alone such an important agenda as the "war in Iraq". I've got FOUR words...... "TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE". Bush spent five minutes arguing with Madeline Albright; and the other ten minutes listening to questions for-which he had some carefully-rehearsed "bullet-points"..... More vague references to "Freedom" and "democracy". Today, the "casualties-total" in Iraq reached THIRTY... SINCE THE "FIRST-OF-THE-YEAR"!! Former-ambassdor J. Paul Bremer ( who was assigned to administer the "transitional-government" of Iraq, has now written a book about his "Year-in Iraq". In it, he is highly critical of Donald Rumsfeld's inadequate troop-deployment-levels... a number, which experts advised, was less than ONE THIRD of the necessary levels! Bremer also writes that the Bush-Administration was woefully unprepared for the aftermath of the invasion...Remember the looting and anarchy??? It was also announced, this week, that the new"Iraq oil-minister" would be Achmed Chalaby...... The corrupt, lying bastard who provided the false "intelligence" data surrounding Iraq's "nuke-yuh-lur" program, and the infamous FORGED documents about "yellow-cake-uranium"!! HE IS NOW "IN-CHARGE" OF IRAQ'S ENTIRE OIL-INDUSTRY!!! Meanwhile, back in the U.S.A., 12 miners in a West Virginia coal mine died... a mine, which by all standards, should have been closed for it's scores of safety-violations. It seems that the "M.S.H.A." (Mine Safety and Health Administration) is much like the F.D.A.; closely intertwined, with many Federal Mine-Safety officials having formerly worked for the MINE-INDUSTRY!! Dept. of the Interior-secretary Gail Norton was, at one time, a LAWYER FOR THE COAL INDUSTRY!!Never in our nation's history, has such "cronyism" been so pervasive and ubiquitous... Energy"insiders"hold secret policy meetings with Dick Cheney, Cabinet-level positions are awarded to lawyers, lobbyists and former-employees of major energy conglomerates. These SAME corporations which "grease-the-wheels" of government with MILLIONS of dollars in "campaign-contributions"!! The recent "indictments" surrounding the "Abramoff" affair have been targeted at, primarily, Republican crooks... It is true, however, that this is ONLY the case, since the Republicans have a monopoly on Washington D.C., and the "money flows to where the power goes". It is easy to "piss & moan", offering no "solutions" to our problems. .... So how about THIS, for a "solution"?? We must DEMAND "Public-funding" for all Congressional and presidential candidates. No more "corporate-contributions", no more "Political-Action-Commitees", no more "shell-games" to disguise corporate bribery. Opponenets will argue, "It'll cost too much!!".... Which begs the question: "How much does it cost to investigate, indict, and prosecute the illegal bribery which now occurs?" "How much does it cost America to allow "special-interests" to pillage the environment, to pollute our water-sheds, to avoid safety and health laws?" all because they have politicians "in their pockets"???... Write, or e-mail your so-called "elected-officials".... Demand a campaign-funding plan which has NO CORPORATE CONTRIBUTORS!!......Dave
