The tragic bomb-assasination of Lebanon's Rafik Hariri is now being "disected", "second-guessed", "analyzed", and "speculated"... Not only by all of the world's journalists, but by the Bush administration as well. Bush has "re-called" America's ambassador to Syria; implying that Syria had something to do with the bombing. He is also considering "expelling" Syria's ambassador to the U.S. Virtually NO evidence has surfaced to suggest Syria's responsibility for this; yet Bush resorts to REMOVING diplomatic tools. His typical "Shoot-first-& ask-questions-later" attitude is again "rearing-it's ugly head". Think about the facts: Syria would not-likely provoke an American military-response with such an assasination. Also, Rafiki was very friendly with Saudi Arabia, it's Royal-Family, and made his vast fortune from road-building and contracting in Saudi Arabia. (Remember who-else made their fortunes from "road-building" and construction in Saudia Arabia?? None other than the Bin Ladin Family!!) Rafiki was not-only a business competitor to the Bin Ladins; but also very "cozy" with the Saudi Royals... A situation VERY un-pleasant to the likes of Al Queda and Ossama Bin Ladin. With the conflict in Palestine now on the "Back-burner"; it is not inconceivable that Al Queda sought to inflame matters in Lebanon; knowing that Bush is TOO STUPID to do anything but "Rattle swords". NO ONE, IN ANY MEDIA SOURCE has yet suggested that Al Queda is responsible!!! In an associated vein; The director of the C.I.A., Porter Goss, this week publically stated that "The war in Iraq has increased terrorist activites and recruiting". I TOLD YOU SO!!! George W. Bush preached, during his campaign, that he "would make America safer from terrorism". His lack of "vision", his simplistic "knee-jerk" policies, and "megalomania" have created the MOST DANGEROUS situation ever faced by our nation!! Today, it was also disclosed, that "prisoner-attrocites" were ALSO performed by American troops on prisoners being held in Afghanistan.... much like the crimes committed at Abu Graib prison in Iraq. Has anyone seen THIS story on FOX NEWS???? The F.C.C. is attempting to censure a P.B.S. documentary about Iraq; one that features "embedded" reporting of American troops... which contains "objectionable-language"; uttered in the heat-of-battle. Using it's "anti-obscenity" clout, P.B.S. stations are now faced with MASSIVE federal fines if they air the show un-edited. P.B.S. "Frontline" producers contend that such obscenities are an "integral part" of the documentary and must NOT be deleted. Since P.B.S. receives Federal-funding, they are at the mercy of the Neo-Con-controlled F.C.C. This seems oddly reminiscent of the "Censure" of the photos of American troops-coffins; The Bush "spin-meisters" will go to ANY lengths to deflect un-favorable depictions of The Iraq war..... Even to use the F.C.C. to "fine" P.B.S. if they air any "objectionable language". Is not the ENTIRE war "objectionable"????? Is not the MASSIVE deficit caused by this war "objectionable"??? Today. C.B.S. News aired audio-tapes that may be used in the prosecution of Enron's Ken Lay. These tapes prove that Enron's "energy-traders" deliberately manipulated electric power to California; resulting in the "rolling-blackouts", economic chaos, and subsequent election of Republican Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger. These tapes include such statements as:' "F...K them, Let us make a little money", and "Ken Lay had full knowledge of everything that went on at Enron"...... You remember Ken lay... the LARGEST campaign-contributor to the Bush campaign..The entire Bush administration is 'coming-apart-at-the-seams" , yet they continue to practice "bait & switch" on all major issues. An estimated 8 BILLION dollars is budgeted to build an embasy in Iraq. Fourteen military bases are currently under construction in Iraq. Bush recently asked Congress for an additional 88 Billion Dollars to fund his ill-fated war. Meanwhile, American Military bases are face with budget-cuts and possible closures. George Bush is the MOST incompetant administrator in recent history; and with all these "pressing-concerns", he chooses to "bait & switch" Americans with vague plans to "revise" Social Security!!! What happened to our Federal Budget-Surplus?? What happened to our Social Security Fund?? What happened to Iraq "paying for the war with oil-revenues"??? What happened to the "missing" 8 BILLION dollars paid to, and un-accounted-for in Iraq???? I suggest that everyone who attends a "Bush-event"; should scream:"Show Me The Money"!!! I just started a book: "Imperial Hubris" By "Anonymous"...(actually a former C.I.A.-analyist who is now retired, and appeared on P.B.S. FRONTLINE). It is a VERY "in-depth" analysis of "Why the West Is Losing The War On Terror". It echos what I hgave been saying for years; that "We are hated for what we are, what we think, and what we represent" is "Errant and potential fatal nonsense". "Robotic-repetition of " because they hate freedom", does not do as an explanation". Muslims have NO concept that separates "church" & "state"; therefore, any "attack" on their governments is also deemed an "attack" on their religion. This concept has OBVIOUSLY escaped the limited mind of George W. Bush; since he admittedly "doesn't read books". He would rather prefer to use an "Wild-West" approach to a complex, ideological problem. Bush would rather "carpet-bomb" or use "cruise-missles"; an approach which has attracted FAR more "Jihadists" to their cause.. In a book called: " The National Interest", professor Daniel Byman writes: " A body-count can be mis-leading", "because of the size of the terrorist cadre is unknown, and many of those killed or captured are low-level recruits who can be easily replaced. More importantly, it fails to reflect the impact on the adversary's morale, recruitment, fund-raisning, and residual ability to conduct sophisticated attacks." A U.S. Marine was interviewed near the beginning of the Iraq war... He was asked how the Marines would "bring-Democracy" to Iraq... To which he replied": "I don't know, that's not our job. Our job is to kill people and blow stuff up"..... Bush is now "grand-standing" various "photo-ops" of the "sucessful election" in Iraq., tearful exhibits of ex-Iraqis voting and relatives of dead American troops. .. an election BOYCOTED by at least 25 % of elegible voters, which was not monitored by ANY INTERNATIONAL AGENCY, which experienced ballot-shortages in Kurd-districts, and which does NOT address the fundamental issues which caused the 9-11 attacks. An election which only confirms the Jihadist's belief that America is war a "colonial" assault on their countries, and therefore their religion, as well. Bush, yesterday gave his "State of the Union" address. NO mention of any "exit-strategy" in Iraq: He HAS NO PLANS TO "EXIT"... in fact, we are now building 14 Military bases in Iraq.; a "permanent" presence; much like the 40-year investment in Korea. Al Queda "director" Zawahiri, has stated often on Al Jazeera Television; that Bush's "arrogance" and "religious-fanaticism" make it MUCH easier to conduct jihads against America!! Bush is actually Al-Queda's #1 recruiter!!! He is attempting to "kill flies" with a shotgun!! While standing in his own pile of shit!! The word "HUBRIS" is defined as :" excessive pride or arrogance; the excessive pride and ambition that usually leads to downfall". Similarly, the definition of "MEGALOMANIAC" is: " one possessed of infantile feelings of omnipotence and granduer, with a craving for more of it". Sounds a lot like some "un-elected" president; one who acts as a "puppet-king" and "shill" for corporate-interests.!!!!! A president, who now wants to divert our Social-Security into high-risk Wall-Street investments; REMEMBER ENRON, WORLDCOM, ARTHUR ANDERSON?????? With an anticipated "administration-cost" of 30 PERCENT, such "investments" are little-more than Gambling. The definition of "gambling":..... "A tax on people who are bad at math." I, personally have lost more than $25,000 in "secure" Mutual Funds, under the Bush administration... This past month, I was faced with "re-financing" my home with a risky "adjustable-rate" mortgage; to avoid bankruptcy!!! Bush's accounting has LOST more than $8 BILLION in Iraq, and has ammassed the larges FEDERAL DEFECIT IN HISTORY!!! His fiscal-responsibility is CRIMINAL!! He has NEVER met any of his "fiscal-projectoins", yet now he wants us to support an vague, undefined plan to "privatize" (read: give-away") part of our Social-Security fund!!!
