The three major t.v. networks reported today that previously un-discovered documents regarding George W. Bush's National Guard duty have surfaced. It seems that Bush's Commanding officer kept a "log", which contains new evidence. George was ORDERED to report for a flight-physical, failed to report for that physical, and was subsequently removed from flight-school. His instructor also wrote about pressure "from-above" to write "favorable" reports about George's performance. (or lack thereof) This, after the man who got George into the National Guard, came forward and admitted that he "made phone calls" to the right people to keep Bush from being drafted and sent to Viet Nam. The White-House "spin-doctors" have already begun denying the claims made in the Kitty Kelley book; although it has yet to "go on sale".... an advance copy was made available ONLY to the Associated Press. Bush's press-secretary has denounced the book as "Partisan politics", without having read it! Air America Radio compared the "War on Terror" to a large pool of mercury, dangerous under certain circumstances; Bush's "boot-heel" approach to combating it has only caused it to spread into hundreds of smaller, dangerous pools. We are now seeing Iraqi "insurgents" brandishing VERY NEW weapons & munitions, obviously being obtained from other countries. (probably Iran and Syria), making alliences between "Bath-Party" members, Shiites, Suniis, and misc. radical foreign-nationals. Many experts on foreign-policy have compared Iraq to a "petri-dish"; fermenting every form on radical-Islamic "fundamentalism". Bush claims to be "Making America safer"; yet ALL experts of Middle Eastern affairs agree that MORE terrorists are being created than we are able to kill, or capture. It has also come to light, that many of the "detainees" in Guantanamo Cuba, are actually innocent Afghanis who were "turned-in" as Al Queda for the cash rewards offered by invading American forces. Is this Democracy in Action?? George continues to "stay the course" like a lemming headed over the cliff!
