The latest Bush T.V. ad says that Kerry's proposed tax-plan would increase "small-business" taxes to rates "higher than those of some multi-national corporations"!!!!! DUH!!!....In this latest distorted half-truth, they hope that you have forgotten: MANY "MULTI-NATIONAL CORPORATIONS PAY LITTLE OR NO TAXES, DUE TO "CREATIVE" ACCOUNTING, AND "OFF-SHORE TAX-SHELTERS"!! (Cayman islands, Anderson Accounting, etc.) Many of Bush's Pharmaceutical-company donors have "corporate-headquarters" registered in such "off-shore" countries, and therefore PAY NO TAXES!! These facades, are convenient loop-holes in America's tax-code, and serve to benefit ONLY the very- wealthy. What the Bush ads DON"T mention, is that small-business tax-rates are ALREADY much higher than most "multi-national corporations"! The Republicans continue to lie, distort, and tell "half-truths" in order to persuade Americans to vote "Bush/Cheney". The "Swift-Boat Veterans for truth" is SUCH FLAGRANT LIES, that even the Republicans Party has distanced itself from their claims. Still people accept them as truth!!!
