The Republican "dirty-tricks" are beginning again. Remember the 2004 election in Ohio? Or how about the 2000 election in Florida? A recent investigation of Ohio's balloting in 2004 has revealed MAJOR problems with their electronic balloting machines. It seems that a sizeable number of these machines "Jammed", "Crashed", or could NOT produce "printed, paper tallies" of the votes. (in some cases, precinct workers didn't know how to operate the machines, and in many others, the machines were improperly loaded with rolls of paper which WAS "UP-SIDE-DOWN" and could NOT PROPERLY PRINT!! These are the machines which are built by Diebold... a MAJOR contributor to Republican coffers; and headed by a close, personal friend of GEORGE W. BUSH!! The "software" for these machines has been "off-limits" to anyone except Diebold insiders; citing "corporate secrecy".... AND TOTALLY PREVENTING INDEPENDANT SCRUTINY OR AUDITING! An "ex" employee of Diebold has publically stated that the "operating systems" of these so-called "secure" balloting machines can EASILY be "Hacked", using readily available software purchased "over-the-counter"! Today, the Republican's are attempting to manipulate the upcoming Congressional election again. The Governor or Arkansas (Republican) has decided that HE ALONE is "in-charge" of the state's lists of "registered-voters", and HE ALONE can select the voting machines for this-fall's election!!! In EVERY state in America, such duties are those of the "Secretary of State" of the various states. However, in Arkansas, the Secretary-of-State is a DEMOCRAT!!! This little "loophole" is now allowing the Republican Governor to personally control the voting-rights (or lack-there-of) of every voter in Arkansas!! ... Much like the Katherine Harris voting fraud which occured in Florida!!! These corrupt bastards know no shame!! Again it seems that ANYTHING they can "get-away-with" is acceptable (as long as they don't get caught!) If you aren't OUTRAGED, then you aren't PAYING ATTENTION!
