"Hypocrisy In Action".... Yesterday's "Senate-Confirmation Hearings" for Condaleeza Rice were largely her attempts at avoidance, to poignant questions directed by Barbara Boxer and John Kerry. She managed to "dodge-the-bullet" by her refernces to "the big picture"..... diverting attention from her incompetance & lies. A true "Politician"..... No substance, only vague "generalities". She was not able to justify her lack of attention to 41 C.I.A. memos and requests for meetings by Richard Clarke.. which probably could have prevented the "9-11" attacks. She has , apparently, reached her "glass-ceiling" the point above-which she cannot rise. Since her "confirmation" is guaranteed by the Republican-controlled Senate, we can only hope that she will do little-damage as Secretary of State.... In an ironic development; one of the Bush "twins" was supposed to be teaching at a charter-school in the Washington D.C. area. When the school was contacted, it was discovered that SHE WAS NOT EMPLOYED THERE... as a result of the "No-Child-Left-Behind" initiative, she IS NOT QUALIFIED!!! Maybe if she needs a job, she can enlist in the National Guard!!!!.........Dave
