Have you seen the latest Bush-T.V. spots?? They're the kind of "spots" that , after they have aired, make you wonder: "What the hell did he just say?" They're those "warm-fuzzy" yet vague attempts at "spin" that don't really say ANYTHING!! No mention of "issues", no explanations of "policy", no "vision", no attempt to explain his many failures, and corrupt-dealings, merely abstract references to such things as: "values", "Faith", "purpose", etc. I guess he's counting-on the votes of the "Lobotomized", the "un-informed", and the "un-caring" masses to re-elect him. His illegal war has killed almost 1000 Americans, wounded another 7000 more, and killed an estimated 11,000 Iraqi citizens. (not counting Iraqi military) A true "Civil War" has erupted in Iraq, with American troops caught in the crossfire. Suni, Shiite, Kurd, Taliban and Al Queda have all begun targeting any "foreigners"; and radical-fundamental- Muslim groups are "sprouting like weeds". Bush has truly "opened-a-can-of-worms" with his short-sighted, inept attempts to quell "terrorism". His administration IS STILL funding the "Strategic Space Initiative"; a truly insane, non-functional system that is supposed to protect America from "Missle-attack".( At a cost of 52 Billion dollars for the next 5 years alone!!) What happened to all those "oil-revenues", that were supposed to pay for this war?? Where are all the "W.M.D.s"???? Why have ALL intelligence-agencies DENIED any connection between Al Queda and Saddam Hussein?? This week, White House sources have been quoted as saying that they "may have over-estimated" the terrorist-threats that led to last-week's escalation of the "Threat-Level". Odd, that seems JUST LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO BUSH'S JUSTIFICATION FOR THE WAR!!.... "Somewhat over-estimated"...Just like what he said about job-growth... "somewhat over-estimated". It now seems that Mr. Chalabi... Bush's #1 source for Iraqi-intelligence, has been charged with corruption & counterfeiting. (You remember him.. he was the one who said that American troops would be greeted as "liberators, with flowers; gladly handing-over their weapons".) Chalabi's nephew has also been charged with murder; this while he sits on the tribunal that is supposed to judge Saddam. Bush's record as "administrator" and "leader" is SO fraught with failures that it "boggles-the-mind"! Last week,( during a speech which he read), he stated that "terrorists are becoming more & more clever in their attacks on America, and so are we"...I am convinced that the man is truly a "moron". I recently compiled a list of Bush's failures, and evidence of corruption. It reached nearly three-pages!! I am simply "flaberghasted" that so many people are "clueless". The facts are available, and well-documented for anyone to learn. (except those that the Bush administration has sucessfully hid from scrutiny.... see Harken Energy, Arbusto Oil, Koch Industries, The Carlyle Group, The Barrick mining corporation, Halliburton, Enron, and the secret-Energy-Policy meetings of Dick Cheney). Bush has also used the W.T.O. and the World Bank to leverage control of publicly-owned utilites and water-works throughout the world; right into the hands of Bush-campaign-contributors. (See the recent riots and strikes in Argentina & Bolivia) Anyone who criticizes Bush is accused of "Bush-bashing", and being "un-patriotic" ; yet the corruption, and greed of this administration is unprecedented. We CANNOT ALLOW THESE THREATS TO OUR DEMOCRACY GO "UN-CHALLENGED"!!! Dave
