I saw FARENHEIT 9-11 today. I am starting a grass-roots movement to nominate Michael Moore for the Nobel Peace Prize. This is probably the most important film in the history of cinema. There is NOTHING in terms of "distortions, manipulations, un-truths, or out-of-context statements; as the Republicans would argue. It is a truly powerful documentary which is in SUPPORT of our troops. I was truly "moved" by the sight of people waiting in line for the next feature. On a Monday afternoon, "sold-out" crowds waited for more than an hour to see it. Families with their children, college students, old "hippies", retired couples, people of ALL genders, races and ages sat patiently in the theatre to see this momentous expose'. I personally was torn between "outrage", "anger", "disgust", "sadness", and "nausea". The sold-out audience cheered & applauded during the film and at it's conclusion. I wish that I had a "spare" $1,000,000..... I would buy a block of tickets and give them away to every registerd Republican in America. This film is MORE IMPORTANT THAN "THE PASSION" BY MEL GIBSON. I encourage everyone, and anyone to see it; and to take someone. Perhaps we can convince someone like Bill Gates or Dean Kamen (rich guys) to buy those tickets, much like the Christian leaders bought tickets to "The Passion"......................By the way, think about this scenario: A Republican administration wants to "fan-the flames" of fear, in order to increase public-support of a ficticious "War on Terror". So they establish a "threat-level", and from time to time, RAISE the level because of "credible-sources". (Never mind that they are usually ficticious, imaginary, or unreliable) Next, use your "Black-Ops" friends in the C.I.A. to mail anthrax to a leading Democratic Congressman. (Tom Daschle) (Never mind a few dead postal-workers.... theyr'e "collateral-damage") For the price of a few grams of anthrax, you can get Billions of dollars worth of media-attention for your war-on-terror; and by "scaring-the-hell" out of a leading Democrat, you can gain his support in Congress!!! Aren't most strains of anthrax FOUND IN GOVERNMENT LABS , ANYWAY??? Surely Bush has a few "covert" operatives "in-his-pocket", that would execute such a scheme. If my "blogs" suddenly cease, and my body is found in a car-trunk somewhere, you'll know this to be true; and that the "spooks" have read this............... Dave
