I recently attended a party, where the converstaion turned to politics. I asked the woman beside me if she had seen "Nightline's" " The Jesus Factor"; to which she replied: "I'm a Republican. I don't watch P.B.S.; they have such a distorted agenda". This would have been hysterical, if she hadn't been TOTALLY SERIOUS!! I was so flaberghasted, that I was speechless. In one of those cases of "What I SHOULD HAVE SAID"; I came up with...... "Yeah, that Mr. Rogers has GOT to be some kind of anarchist, and I heard that BIG BIRD is communist!!!And Ken Burns...isn't he gay????" Isn't it time that we require a minimum "intelligence-level" to be able to vote???? It's scary that anyone with such a narrow, un-informed perspective has the same voting-rights as you & I!!!......... Rumors are now circulating that the Republican party is planning to eliminate P.B.S. ALTOGETHER!!! STOP THE INSANITY!!!!..........Dave

LOL. Surprisingly enough, I agree with you 100%. It is stupid for an individual to make all of their decisions based on only one side of the story. Unfortunately, more than 75% of the country are not willing to even look at the other side for fear that they may be wrong... *Sigh* And these are the people deciding who gets to be in charge...
