The Albuquerque ALIBI newspaper tells of ANOTHER example of "Homeland-Security", and the desparate failures thereof. (This incident was in Quebec, however). In an exercise to test the bomb-sniffing dogs at Trudeau airport, a jar of T.N.T was inadvertantly placed in an unwary passengers luggage. He discovered it after passing through security, and arriving at home. (The dogs also did not detect the explosives). I also was told the story of an Albuquerque policeman; who flew to Las Vegas. He unloaded his service-weapon and packed it in his "checked" luggage. When he arrived in Las Vegas, he was shocked to discover that he had inadvertantly packed 2 full clips of "live" ammunition in his carry-on luggage. The metal-detectors, x-rays, and bomb-sniffing dogs did not find them..... Makes you feel REALLY SAFE HUH????........ Dave
